Apollo VTube Kit

shows a stainless tube being vaped @ L-Rider.

Did you see that they now want $55 more for a stainless version and $35 more for a chrome/copper.... Wasn't it only like $10 or $15 more for a stainless a week ago? Cancelled my order not too long ago as I wanted to wait for the new model with upgraded internals (or possibly a vmax), but I know I wasn't paying $55 more for stainless...

Yeah at that price I doubt they will sell them all..even if they were the new version and they are not I wouldn't pay that much...

I received an email from them friday evening about the increase in price. Funny, in the email it says that the price was going up $30 dollars due to increased manufacturing costs. Their original offering was for 500 units and then that changed to 1000. Huh? I can't believe a mass produced unit ends up costing more, the larger the production run is. Typically the opposite is true. Larger run=lesser mfg. costs. But, hey, whadda I know...

Anyway, I was one of the ones that ordered this SS VTube back in March, too. The price increase for the SS was +$15, now it is +$55. That is a $40 increase (not $30, like the email I received friday indicates). BUT... for those that still wanted to order one, they did include a discount code, good through monday (4/23) that will take 20% off. Whatever.

I'm not sure how to feel now. I did not cancel my order and have been patiently waiting. This is my first VV unit I have ever ordered, thinking it would be a good one to "get my feet wet" with. I still hope it is a good unit and am looking forward to receiving it (... someday... sigh...). But these multiple changes in delivery dates, change in production runs, change in prices is beginning to make me go, hmmm. Makes them seem a little "wishy-washy" in a way. IDK, all I can say is I guess I'll see what happens next when this thing finally arrives....
