I have to admit that I do, and this is after just one day! :-x

This is my first day of vaping and I thought from the get-go this would be the end of my analogs (it certainly satisfied my nicotine craving).
I still crave the "ritual" of actually lighting up, using a lighter or matches, playing with my cigarette (ashes in the ashtray), and biting the end of my filter to restrict the draw on my smoke.
Am I doomed?

I experienced the exact same thing my first day of vaping. The Ritual. I was afraid that the feeling would last. Something seemed to be missing by not lighting up the cig, tapping the ashes, etc. I was afraid that it wouldn't go away, but it DID indeed go away and very quickly. It did not bother me at all my second day. I became thrilled by not having dirty filthy ashtrays to constantly clean and the stray ashes that seemed to quickly coat everything. After a few days, I cleaned out my car and dusted my house. Everything stays so much cleaner now.

I now love the "Ritual" of preparing my carts and topping off with juice, organizing and toting my new "paraphernalia". I find that I enjoy this ritual much better than the last.

vaping works. Just stick with it. Look at it as a new hobby. It is one that you will quickly grow to love!

I'm one of those people who, 3-4 months in, still smokes about five cigarettes a day (down from a pack right before, and more in certain phases of a 40-year habit). Of the ones I smoke, the two I have in the morning, one right after the other, with coffee and computer are the ones I truly enjoy. The others, not so much usually. What's odd is-- even if I've been nicotine-deprived for a whole afternoon, that get-in-the-car-and-light-up cigarette that used to feel like it was saving my life now makes me feel a tad queasy. All and all, I have an easy time envisioning myself cutting down further to those two morning cigarettes (I will not call them "analogs," btw). Not so easy to envision a 100% quit for me. But maybe...

We seem to be exactly alike. I have been vaping for almost a year and a half and still love that morning cigarette with coffee. I also want a real one if I am having an alcoholic drink. Other than that, one a day is all I do. For a long time, I smoked five a day, like you, then found myself at one where I have stayed for a year. If I want more cigarettes, I have them without even a thought, but usually I don't. As for the "analog" term, God I hate that. Just call them what they are: cigarettes. I also cannot use the term "personal vaporizer" hate that one too. It's an electonic cigarette, nothing more and nothing less.
