FYI-
I have used my first nautilus coil for 7 full days now and there is no sign of having any type of off flavor or loss of vapor

I've had the Volt version of the Aspire Vivi Nova BDC for about the same time and still no type of drop off either. I'm hoping that Volt puts out a version of the nautilus for it also.

Another FYI-

FYI- I removed the base from my Nautilus today in order to refill the tank. The coil head was stuck in the air tube. When I tried to pull it out, the coil and wick part came out but, not the tube part. Anyway, these have to be very easy to rebuild for those that would want to.

In my opinion, the Aspire line of clearo heads has to be the best product innovation for 2013. I just got the nautilus, after copious you tube videos I've watched, and it undoubtedly lives up to the hype. I let a friend try it who still uses classic vivi novas, and he said it's the smoothest vape he's had in his life.

I went from the Aspire vivi style bdc to the Nautilus.

As great as the Nautilus is, I'm determined to go with the rebuildable jenny style atties. I was eyeballing the Aqua clone, but it only hold like 1.7ml That's horribly low. If something comes out with dual coil rebuildable that holds AT LEAST 3ml, I'm all in.

Random: What I'm really waiting for according to vaporjoes, is the new clones of the DNA 20 chipset coming out of china. Not only have they cloned the DNA 20, but with the new DNA 30 being released, the china manufacturers have the dna 30 upgrade already built into the chipset. It's literally a simple software upgrade for the chipset. I'm so excited I'm about to lose it. Sadly I'm lacking in technical ability to actually be able to build my own dna based mod, though I would like to try if it was simple enough.

Anyway, outside of ridiculous legislation in CA, 2014 looks to be a very promising year on the vapefront.

Keep calm, vape on.

Salemgold you Rock! I have one of these tanks and love it. I told myself I would wait until the price came down before ordering more. Just ordered 2 of them. What a great find. Looks like a legit site, they used HTTPS for payment. And since the total was $53 (I'm in the same state so had to pay $3.75 in sales tax), but that put it over $50 which means I get free shipping. So paying the tax was actually a net gain anyway. I can't imagine they'll have these for long after Aspire finds out about the low price, I heard they have already cut off several dealers for selling too low. So grab them up while you can.

Great find...thanks again!

What's wrong with my Aspire ET-S BDC 1.8Ohm? I filled it up with 12mg Strawberri e-liquid from FlavorX, hit 3.8V on my Vamo V5 (fully charged new AW IMR 18650 in case thats important) and vaped for some time, going up to 4.2V I think but then it started tasting like burning a newspaper, bitter and really bad + a little burnt feeling in my nose. Lowering the volts didnt help, so I tried a new head if the old one had burned juice on it but that didnt help either, it burnt the liquid immediately at 3.7V even though it's a 1.8 ohm BDC meaning it should handle up to well over 5V.

the heads work fine for me. did you prime them with 3 or 4 drops? when i use vv, i go 4.5 to 4.8 v, no problems.

Yep, I am hoping that lots of folks get in on this deal before they get busted lol Maybe the Chinese Holiday will work in their favor.

Vapage is a top notch site. They are popular for their Vmods. No worries ordering from them :)

How long have you had the Vamo? Is it possible that it is off on the voltage? Actually higher than the setting?

have you tried using wattage, instead? i use 9 bdc tanks, juices around 50pg/50vg. did you wash out the tank, before putting in the new head?

Yup I did wash it. Didnt try wattage because my eVod and MT3s worked fine with 3.5-3.9V (both 2 Ohm).

Got it yesterday, but I dont think the voltage is off because ^ reply :/

Hmmm.. so I tried setting up a new head, dropped some e-liquid on the coil/wicks, hit it a few times to get some vapor, filled the tank, let it be for 20 minutes, used watts and started from 4 watts, was fine till around 6 watts when it started to taste burned again. Repeated the same with my MT3s, no problems, then with eVod which burned the juice at 6 watts too. Maybe the liquids are so sensitive or something but it's still pretty weird.. was my last head for the Aspire so I think I'm gonna give up on it and order me some MT3'ses. Btw, always check it's the whole clearo you're taking off, not just the tank part... My white t-shirt just got a nice PSV Gummy Bear covering >.<

Edit: hmm, funny, now my Aspire is working at 7W, and the limit seems to be 8.5W... we'll see what comes out of this..

You might try rebuilding one of your old heads. I just did my first Nautilus head recoil and it was actually very easy (followed Rip Trippers video). With using cotton for the wick it sucks up juice great and tastes even better than the stock head, which was already very good. I'm really enjoying it. It only took 15 minutes, and that was only my second time building a coil.

Here's one for you folks. I haven't tore it apart yet. But, asking here in case it has happened to somebody else. This is very strange to me.

On one of my wife's Aspire Davide's, she's getting a good connection, reading the resistance when just the base is attached to her mod. But, if you attach the tank to the base, it says zero resistance.

Just from the little I've played with them (showing her how to work them) I don't see how attaching the tank could affect the circuit from mod to head and back. But I've seen it with my own eyes! :)

Anybody?
