I had wicking/draw issues with the aspire depending on the mod. It doesn't work well on my eVic. Air path gets too restrained and I end up with negative pressure pulling liquid out. Works like a champ on my twist and lets face it, it looks better on that anyhow.

True that. And on a Magneto with the eGo native top cap. I always liked the way the Vivi's looked. And I like anything I can take the cap off and fill.

Good luck!

:)

...my patience was fizzling with Kanger's heads as of late.

Me too! You can hardly find the original T3 base anymore, especially in 1.8 ohm, so you use the adapter base for the T3S coils, and every third one out of the five packs is defective. Sometimes I get so sick of wasting money on crap that doesn't work, but I have heard that product inconsistency is a little problem with Kanger.

Anyway, I got some new Aspire clearos, two ET and one ET-S. Last night I opened and tried one of the ET. It does create more vapor. To me, it does not seem to use up more juice. I do wish the draw were a little more airy. It is less so than on the T3/T3S and even less so than on my Protank. The Aspire ET seems difficult to fill because when you tip it, you can't see the breathing tube, but if you just pour in against the side and trust your method, the liquid doesn't go into the center tube.

Happy so far. Not singing great praises, because I sometimes find that new equipment is great the first day, then starts to suck. We'll see. I haven't tried the pyrex ET-S yet, and already I wish the viewing slot were longer and wider, but I knew that when I ordered it.

Got several 1.5 ohms (3 or 5) left ;) The T3 lasts me SOOOO long I've been vaping on 10 since March... Have you tried the Vapeonly BCC? Vapes a little lighter than the T3 but it's the best of the lot to me...

This fashion of dual coils makes me wonder... Most regulated PV have power limitation, even if you pump up the voltage the power limitation will kick in... at how much? On what device? Most 1.5 ohm dual coils won't fire beyond 3.7 volts

pbusardo has a nice review on his website(and youtube, i'm sure). uses bobas bounty(100% vg) and mentions no muted flavor especially compared to other clearos. maybe compared to rbas or rdas , but the convenience outweighs a tiny loss in flavor........

if pbusardo likes it it will sell a million. If he doesn't, the product will bomb.

If I had a nickel for everything he didn't like that i thought was good, I'd have a large piggy bank now.

Don't get me wrong, I like Pbsardo, but I'm not a lemming. ;)

I just bought a bunch of Aspires off the classies.

Reading here how some are having air flow issues using them on Provaris. I will be using mine on a Provari.

What solutions have the Provarinatti found to deal with this?
Is it just to unwind the tank off a quarter turn, like some to with the ProTanks?

What say you?

Take the head off and pull the pin out just slightly on the head
Anyone having any problems with their Vivi Nova-S? I have two, one works flawlessly but the other one won't give me any suction when it's hooked up to my battery. I tried replacing the head but that didn't help. I tried interchaning parts and I think that it is the top piece that is faulty (?).

My wife is not having airflow issues on her provari on either the davide's or vivi's.

Gotta tell this story here too for anybody thinking about these Aspire Davide's.

My wife's took a drop from my shirt pocket on a full size provari with even extension (heavy!) to a cement floor. It must have landed DT first. Dislodged the top piece of the provari!! (Which I banged in with a block of wood as suggested by provape and good as new)

But not even a scratch on the Davide! These are built tough!! I thought for sure the glass would crack.

so heres a mystery for the books. as you all know i have been having massive trouble with my aspire ets the ego version. poor wicking, and dry hit after dry hit. i did all these tweaking to the device, to the heads and made it better but way too much effort as gone into this thing to allow it to wick half decent. last night my friend came over and he recently purchased this aspire Aspire BDC Vivi Nova-S Pyrex Glass Bottom Dual Coil Tank

i couldn't believe it was using the same heads. the thing was unreal and out of this world. i threw it on my spinner and i was literally speechless. today i went and purchased this exact one from the same vendor here where i live. i loaded it up and once again i am blown away by the performance. how in the world does this vivi style aspire work so flawlessly and the ETS version wont wick worth a dam? they use the exact same heads, same design just smaller. well anyway, i am more then pleased with this vivi version aspire then i ever could imagine.

I was really curious to see where this thread went.

If you recall my 48-hour marathon on the Mini, you will remember my wick carts failed within the first 24. The larger 3.5 Vivi form factor always outperformed the Mini. Cooler, better wicking, less flooding issues. And glass helps. But at the end of the day it's all in the wick (coil) though jtracc. It needs to be right and consistent. And we can't see what's going on there. I would say if you like the tank, stick with that vendor. They got it goin' on. If anything changes, suspect a change in their supply line…AND ASK!

Just sayin'.

Okay, so I'm reporting back after using my Aspire for a few days. I haven't open the pyrex one yet. This is the plastic ET. I enjoyed it fine at first. At first I thought it created more vapor. Now I don't really think it makes a lot more vapor, maybe just a little more. Anyway, last night mine stopped working, like the coil was dead, or contact with the battery was not made. I took it off the battery and tried to unscrew the base. It wouldn't come off. I had to find my pliers to get it off. Then, I don't know why, I decided to put the base back on and put it aside. I went back to vaping on a different clearo, and a little while later my battery started flashing, wanting to be recharged. I put the same Aspire back on a freshly recharged battery, and the draw was back. It vaped, but was leaking all over my battery. It dripped on my couch, and was spitting juice into my mouth. Geez, new stuff. I don't mind having spent 6.95 to try the clearo. I just wish I hadn't bought two 5-packs of replacement coils, because my T3's are looking better and better now.

I've not had any problems with the coils, but admit them plastic et's can be really hard to unscrew, one thing I found, is make sure the little plastic ring is still on, mine got stuck in the threads when I tightened it up, which I think was the reason it was hard to unscrew that time, if that isn't in place, could cause leaking.

I just loaded up my first 2 tanks.

One i think I over primed and it leaked onto the batt connection. Dabed it up. Blew it out from the bottom to the top. Seems to be ok now.

The other tank is working perfectly.

Spending my first few minutes with them. Initial impression is good. Great flavor. MMMM tastes a bit different than from my carto tank. Halo Belgian chocolate tastes about the same.

I Wanna see how long the coils lady compared to carto tanks.

    More shall be revealed

I poked a hole in my Aspire coil assembly with my carto punch to make a total of 3 holes.
Will report back with the results.
The outer shell slipped a little but I just turned it upside down on the counter and gave it a couple firm taps with the hammer.
    Film at 11

I think I'll do the same. Please, report if it floods.

I don't always confer with Busardo, for instance T3 have been the greatest vape ever (aside from contact problems) as well as the Vapeonly BCC. But most things that work for him work for me.
