Nailz, thank you for the reply. I always give the equipment a second chance because there are so many little glitches and mysteries, and because I've plowed so much cash into it already. I still have to use pliers to remove the base from the top, every time, but that's okay because the pliers don't seem to disfigure the metal (or metal coated plastic, whatever it is). The little plastic ring seems to stay where it belongs, and there has been no more leaking, so now I'm just really spoiled on the warmth of the vapor, the draw and the better flavor. It's hard to use my T3's any more, though I have to at least until I can afford the full army of Aspires for home and office. i did get a few more with black friday discounts.

I ordered one from sure vapes saturday & couldn't believe it when it came in the mail yesterday. I bought the aspire bdc pyrex vivi nova & vaped myself ......ed after filling it up with boba tea and then not being able to fall asleep until 3 in the morning...so note to self: no more vaping past midnight no matter how delicious it is. Hah.
Question: (I looked through some of this thread, but it's at 35 pages now & I didn't see my q in what I was able to read through) With the replacement coil on these has anyone found a vendor that has a good price? The price per coil or per 5 pack seems high to me (I think 11.49 plus shipping has been the lowest I've seen and it goes up to 18.99 plus shipping on some other vendors). Or are they just priced high now because it's a newer product and the price will drop in a few months?

LOLOLOL I did that the day I first tried Tribeca. Waited 'till the evening to fire up the XL tank. Got Rip Tripper's buggy-eye'd.

I did see one vendor that was around $9 per 5 pack. As soon as I remember who it was, I will post it here. I think that these are just going to get more and more popular so not sure how fast the prices will come down on the coils.
I have found that if you rinse them in hot water and soak in PGA or high proof vodka overnight, they vape like new again. So, the good news is that they seem to last a very long time
Ummm.... you may want to keep some lower nic juice on hand for trying out new toys? Just sayin
Thanks Salem! Think I got spoiled with the evod heads workin for both evod & protank (especially getting a 5 pack of those heads for around $5), but I know I'm going to be using this aspire a lot. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be this good (keep in mind I've only used it for a day so far, so long term who knows...). So refreshing to be able to just fill and use without leaking or flooding (& with the pyrex no worries of crackin the darn thing).
From now on though I'll only play with new toys in the daytime. I do have lower mg juice, but I like seeing what a new thing is like all around (pull, throat hit, flavor, vapor, and all the other things that end in or)...and this was really a nice surprise.

discountvapors has a 5-pack for $9.99. eric has the best customer service and gets stuff to you fast. like anything, the price will probably drop the longer they are produced- someone is sure to make them cheaper, they always do........
i own 6 of them. one for every juice in rotation. they are great.

Don't waste your money on the 2.1ohm heads, got some thinking can't be much difference, I was wrong, really lack in the flavor compared to the 1.8ohm heads.
I kind of agree- ive tried both as well and there isnt too much a difference to me (other than setting the PV to a different voltage), but id say i slightly prefer the 1.8ohm as well.
I also haven't read all 35 pages of this thread so can anyone tell me if the truth about the the Aspires pos. post not making contact on some PV'S?? Tia.

I just got my Aspire's, the Mini Vivi and the ViVi Nova and love them. There is no loss of taste, no muting. They are airier than I thought they'd be but still nice. Got mine from Altsmoke.
