Anyone know what is needed to attach the t3 to a 14650 e-power? It has 510 threads with a bigger cone than an ego.

It will work with a 510 to ego adapter but the e-power threads will be visible. You could cut a e-power cone to use to cover the threads. I don't think they make any thread covers for the e-power that I know of.

I hate the T3 and won't be using it for the simple reason that the vapor is cold. Being bottom coil, by the time the vaper goes through the tank and the plastic mouthpiece it is way to cold for me (cranking the volts just burns the wick). Bottom coils are great for cartos with their one piece metal design, but not for this. Very disappointing for me. You may like it if you prefer cooler vapes. I stick to my vision clearos, novas, and mega cartos.

To each their own taste! I like the drier vape because of my bronchospasm. And if you want a warmer vape crank up the voltage. It's all it takes!

This is the same reason I don't much care for the T3. I've been using T2's for a while now and I liked the warm vape. The T3 gives good flavor, but I can't get past the lack of warmth. I'm glad I only purchased one.

Blow it out, if the gurgling bothers you. Personally, I don't mind the gurgling, unless it gets really bad, because it lets me know that the wicks are completely wet, and I won't be getting any dry hits. As for the flavor falloff, I've found that some juices don't play as nice with the T3 as others do. You may want to clean and do a dry burn, and see if that makes any difference.

Ok, I'm new at clearos. Got these three days ago. Loved em at first. Second day the flavor seemed to have gone way down, while the vapor remained good. Now I get gurgling and juice in the mouthpiece constantly and vapor production is way down. What am I doing wrong here?

It’s wicking liquid to the coil too fast. Did you turn the cup shaped seal above the coil upside down? If you did, turn it back over the way it was, and tighten up the coil assembly onto the tank all the way.

Well there are few things you can do to help. First you can flip the seal gasket by the wicks it helps juice get to the wicks better. Also I just blow lightly into the mouthpiece every few vapes till I see a air bubble release from the coil then I'm good to go again.
for the gurgling I just take it off and blow it out into a tissue dry and replace.

When I flip the seal gasket over, it just rolls up on the main air tube in the T3, then when I take the head off the T3, the seal remains in the T3. Am I missing something here? Vapes much better though.

Thanks!

Ken

I wouldn't classify it as "cold", as it is actually hotter than on my Vivi Nova Minis. But it sure isn't a hot vape like a T2, so if you're into that, unfortunately this is not for you.

Still gurgling a bit. Any tips on how to keep it from flooding again? Thanks again!

No problem! Two things that I do to prevent from leaking:
- Drilling a beveled edge at the bottom of the dismantled air tube.
- Using rolled cotton as a wick.

I now won't get gurgling until the juice level reaches the wicks. And the vapor production and taste are better than new.

(Edit: I did notice that when my battery is getting low, I get gurgling and leaking. I guess the juice flows as usual, but as the coil is not as hot, it doesn't all get vaporized.)

Try turning the silicone cup upside down so that when you replace the tube, the cup will go over the metal tube on the inside.

That will definitely increase gurgling and leaking. When gurgling, the issue is that too much juice gets to the wicks. Flipping the rubber gasket will not slow down the juice flow, but exactly the opposite. The gasket is there to squeeze on the wicks, and slow down juice flow.

It helps if you're getting dry hits, not leaking.

No, you're not missing anything. That's always happens. I've had a cup seal stuck on the air tube in my T3 tank for about a month. As long as it vapes good, who cares.

Yes the silicone cup will get stuck but you can easily pick it out with a tooth pick or tweezers. I have not gotten any leaking problems yet, however I do get the occasional gurgling. I usually just blow it out from both ends until it stops gurgling, then roll up some tissue and dry up the liquid stuck inside the mouthpiece. I'm currently using most of my heads with the flavor wick removed and the silicone cup placed back in its original position. It's working fantastic so far! Do this only if you've tried the other ways or your head stops working as well.

When you say "flavor wick", is that what looks like 2 wicks that are loose ontop of the wick that has the coil wrapped around it? At least I thought there were 2. If there are 2, then do you mean you are removing just one of those wicks? Sorry if I'm dense on this, but I think I must be. LOL!

Thanks!

Ken

Never mind, it's kind of obvious ;) Mine has 2 loose wicks. I removed both, but just flipping over the seal seems to work perfectly, so I put them back in and so far so good. I'm using a 80/20 pg/vg blend, so I'm surprised anything needs to be done to stop dry hits, but as long as there are reasonable solutions, I'm ok with it. Overall I really like the T3.

When I started using the coil assembly that I’m using now, I was getting burnt tasting dry hits. I flipped the cup seal upside down, but that didn’t help much. Then I replaced the 2 loose “flavor” wicks with one piece of 2mm silica wick that I got from Stormy’s Vapor Cellar. No more dry hits. It gurgles a little but vapes great.

Actually this is a good point. I've seen thinner (PG) liquids give dry hits, and thicker (VG) liquids wick just fine. I've also seen the opposite. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. Some liquids vape just fine with no tweaking at all. Some liquids require every trick in the book plus I have to stand on my head and push the button with my left pinkie and inhale through my right nostril. I'm approaching 2 years of vaping and sometimes I feel like a beginner again.

Same here! LOL! I'm a little over 2 yrs vaping and everytime I think I've found the "perfect" solution, soon I find out there ain't one yet. So, I guess we just keep plodding along. The one thing I yet have to master, and I've tried many times, is dripping. When I think I have it licked, I start getting nasty tastes or incessant flooding. Reviewers on youtube make it look easy ;)

And the T3 is anything but perfect. Quirky and inconsistent is my best description of them, but it's the best thing I can find at the moment. I did finally find LR replacement coils for them, hopefully they'll be better.

If the Boge LR cartos hadn't turned to crap, I'd still be using them. They were the closest to perfect I'd found.

Same here regarding Boge :(

Yes, I am referring to the two loose wicks that you can easily remove. I do not know how much of a difference these wicks make, however, when I removed them from my heads, I neither noticed an improvement or a decrease in quality of the unit. They did however, improve the tight draw and muted taste in some of my coils. I suppose more good has come out of it, as nothing bad has happened as a result of this change. Of course, you can always replace the wicks and flip the silicone seal cup back to whichever way works better for you.

I would like to know of a good replacement for the wicks as well... just to see if it makes a big difference.

I personally removed both, but you can try removing one at a time and see if that makes a difference for you. Exposing the coil is a good way to clean it though!
