So I finally decided to try ecigs to cut down on cigs and thus save money. Now I cannot stand the taste and smell of smokes. I really don't know why anyone would want a cig again after trying these. There are so many delicious flavors out there and I have many more to try. So anyway it has been 2 months now without a cigarette and all I can say is good riddance.

I wasn't looking to quit or cut back, I had tried too many times and knew it was going to take more will power than I had. So anyways a little over three weeks ago I decided to try a disposable to see what all the hype was about and that would be the day of my last analog. Although this "hobby" is just as expensive as analogs I can say without a doubt I feel much better.

+1 who quit accidentally. I got an ecig to deal with a long car trip and to keep from having to go outside at my mother's house in northern Minnesota at Christmas time (-10 degrees F) before my morning coffee.

About a week after receiving my first mini kit, I realized I was only smoking about 2 cigs a day and decided I'd just do away with the analogs altogether. I've tried to quit fourteen times in the past using pharmaceuticals/cold turkey/support groups... you name it, and failed each and every time within the first three weeks. This time, it's easy. Who wouldn't choose raspberry shortcake flavored nicotine over burnt leaf flavor? :)

Congrats! And welcome.

I have yet to hear from one person who said "You know I put on a patch and quit smoking by accident. I didn't mean to, but the patch was so much better than smoking. After a week of the patch I couldn't stand the smell of a lit cigarette any more."

Isn't vaping the better way to go? :)
