VV/VW is VV/VW... The only question is how much are you willing to pay for form factor and reliability.

And to boot VW isn't all that if you're using a RBA.

Furthermore, my Vamo's ohm meter is shy by .2, so it's not really a variable wattage device, it's variable What'?age.

If your looking for a diffident vape you need to be looking for a diff atty not a diff power source. You'll be fine w/ the Vamo until it breaks or until you start running a ~ 1.4 ohm coil. If if breaks buy more MIC stuff; if you want to wrap a 1 ohm coil it's time for a mech mod.

That' how I see it at least.

Had my Vamo for about 3 months or so then I broke it. Was my fault I dropped it and it destroyed the "up" adjustment button.
I was sad because I really did like it. It got kinda flaky on low battery though. Sometimes it would be strong down to 3.3 volts, other times it would be weak or quit firing at 3.6 volts. I don't know what the max discharge is.

I had it apart in an attempt to fix it. It is built really well, but the micro switches on the PCB are fragile so take care not to jam them up like I did.

Got a Provari in the mail. It's expensive but supposedly durable.

Hard to beat the Vamo for the price. I have been looking at the Innokin SVD however. Comes with two iClear 30s for $100.

I have been eyeing those since before they were released, I'm thinking though a mechanical and Provari will be my next mods.

As for the orginal poster, the Sigelei Zmax is very nice, I have both the Vamo and Zmax. Right now the Zmax gets more use, a little bit smaller and lighter. I still think the VAMO is the best value out there right now though.

I'm looking for something with VW besides the Vamo as well. On my 3rd Vamo atm. First one lasted 3 months, thought; that's fine, didn't pay that much. 2nd one lasted only a week. Using 3rd one now, looking for some other backup APV. The 2 Vamos that died both have low battery indicator, no idea how to fix it. I won't buy a 4th one.

The Siegel Zmax caught my attention because the V2 is ego threaded, I believe. Can the Evic use ego type tanks like the evod?

The Vamo was my very first mod ever and I still have the original - Its been dropped, kicked, dented, beat, I swear it looks like I used it as a hammer. Still working great - I grant you it sits in my vape mug now unused but I only use 0.7-0.9 ohm coils and my iSeason. I'm surprised so many people have so much trouble with the Vamo breaking but I guess I had 2 eGo-C Twists do the same thing just as easily.

I broke down and getting a Siegeli T-max box mod vv /vw. Was going to wait until my Vamo broke but my excuse is, IF it breaks I'll have a back up plus it's a box. Co op price $50 and some change delivered. Might be open still. Anyway, fingers crossed on this one. The 1st release got changed quickly I believe it was battery sizes? I'm it clear. Going in blind ha ha! Love a good deal

My Vamo is a little work horse. I have wrapped it twice and will be wrapping it in glove leather soon. I test Atties with it, dry burn with it, high Foltage vape ocassionally with it with two 18350 batteries ( watch out, don't dry burn with that arrangement! Ha ha lobe and learn) vape my RBAs with it, try all new stuff on it. I clean things well and believe it will last a long time.

I like my vamo, but I think of it more as novelty than anything. It's a China made mod. I would be extremely surprised if I get 6 months out of it. I got because it was cheap ($35) and I wanted to play around with VW. I put a R2D2 wrap on it as a gag and pull it out just as a conversation piece.
