Last night I was in Appleby's vaping at the bar so the bartender comes over and thought it was a pot pipe ( an Xhaler ) so I told him its a "medical vaporizer" !!

OK FINE he says , nothing more said

I know some of you will think this is a bad idea to call it MEDICAL but to me it is , just like taking Chantix or a nic patch , my PV is helping me to save my own life I BELIEVE !

So to me it is medical , and if it allows me to vape when I want to then so be it , the FDA is gonna makes these damn things illegal anyhow in the next month or so .

No way they are going to allow an untested drug delivery device to exist on the market. So vape in public while you can.

Like I said in another thread -

"It's just like those asthma inhalers that people use when they can't breath. This thing prevents me from having anxiety and panic attacks, severe depression and homicidal urges."

Vape 'em if ya got 'em - while you still can!

Not all medical treatment is approved by the FDA or a Board of Medical examiners.
You can buy holistic medicine at any health food store.

Just because your doctor didn't prescibe it, or your insurance doesn't pay for doesn't mean it isn't therapeutic. (outside of controlled substances and direct violation of the law).

Hell, it relieves tension, it helps you relax, and when you relax you can breathe easier. I wouldn't even go so far as to call it an asthma treatment, I'd just say its a therapeutic breathing treatment or a form of nicotine inhaler.

I'd doubt anyone would give you much flak.

One thing about our litigious society is that any hint of something being medical or therapeutic poeple generally will just evade the subject all together.

And this way, you aren't lying.

Y'know why I hate freaking applebees so much? because the one in my area had 4 different lawsuits against it for over serving people letting them get trashed and then them getting into accidents but what did they do to save the public from danger?

ban smoking...

That place should in no way still have a liquor license.

The only reason the FDA is having a fit about e-cigs is because of the amount of money they are losing from the sale of real cigarettes. That's why Phillip Morris signed that HUGE deal with them giving so much control and profit to the FDA so they would legalized e-Cigs.Think about all the lies and half truths the FDA spread. Why? PROFIT!!

I play in a band and had a gig the other night at an establishment that used to have a smoking area, so I would just pop into the smoking area and vape, didn't want management to give me grief, but I got a tap on the back last time and was told that the place is a no smoking place now...so I apologized, and explained about vaping, and was told that would be fine, unless someone complained..then had several people ask me about it....if you don't try, you won't know the response...there are a lot of people with no idea about vaping...so I am just spreading the knowledge as much as I can....vaping is so much better than smoking, it's just unreal, and I'm glad I was curious...

I have Applebees in a few towns around me and I vape @ all of them. I was in the one I use most often last night, and there was a bartender that hadn't seen me vape yet. She came over and said... "is that one of those things?".

I chuckled, explained "those things" to her, and now she's getting one each for her, her boyfriend, and his grandfather.

Vape on folks! We're saving lives out there!

It was the same thing back in the day when alcohol wasn't legal. The government wasn't making any money. I think this FDA thing is all about money. They will lose a lot, not just for them but retail will lose, hospitals, states etc...
Its the whole reason we went to war or go to war. Its all about money. They know that analogs are much much worse for you. They also know that nicotine is not a cancer causing agent.
