Are 808 e-cigs good for outdoor workers?

I'm looking for an e-cig that would work well for my son who works outdoors most of the time. He does a lot of landscaping work and driving around in his truck, and he constantly has a cigarette in his mouth. My guess is that only a cigalike would be a good candidate for this type of use. I've been looking at the SI Volt which gets pretty good reviews and also has a 78mm battery which would maximize time between charges.

I'm just not sure if e-cigs - and particularly the heavier 78mm e-cigs - would work well for his needs. I'd appreciate hearing from any other outdoor workers who might have experience with e-cigs and could offer some advice. Thanks.

The volt or halo g6 autos are great for hands free use. The only thing with a cigarette size battery is they have to be recharged often if he uses it like chain smoking. If he's OK with carrying 3-4 batteries to last all day, they should work OK for him. If he wants one item to last all day, a 900 or 1100 mah battery from smokeless image or triton from halo will work better. Both companies and systems are interchangeable with parts. If you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask, but I would get his opinion on what he is looking for

I got around the charging problem with a pocket battery charger. Holds two batteries and charges them with room for cartos.

For use at his home I was going to get him a Vision Spinner/EVOD combination. These products get excellent reviews and seem like they would work very well for him when he's not running around on his job. My main concern was finding a good e-cig for him to use while he's working so that he didn't have to revert to regular cigarettes. The weight of e-cigs seems like it might make it hard to keep in your mouth all the time, and I wanted to find something that would maximize the likelihood that he'd use it.

I used 808D-1 batteries/cartos for a couple years with no issues. You'll want a charging case that hols a spare battery, too. another option would be to get a cheap 808-510 adapter & use 510 cartos. I always used boge 510 cartos with mine. 3 batteries - 1 active, 1 charging & 1 in reserve. no real issues other than always having one on the charger ;)

I'm in the cable industry and am out in the field in all condition, dirty hands all the time, and wanted something that can be used while doing other things. I also wanted something that would blend in well and not attract unwanted attention. Any auto 808 should work for his needs, the shorter it is, the lighter it will be, but will run out quicker. I have white cloud cirrus 3 and now a halo g6. Both are very similar in size and weight. The g6 is a 65mm and I can hold it in my mouth like a analog. The cirrus is even lighter. I've only had the halo a few days but have been using the cirrus for over 6 months now. I have dropped them several times, had them in varying climates, and the only issue I have had is that one got dropped into a puddle. It still works but not as good as the others. Check out my pictures in this thread, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/540449-hello-all.html IMHO the g6 with some refillable carts are probably the one for him.
