I agree and disagree. The batteries, from my experience, are about the same, but the cartomizers are definitely not. I've ordered from Vapor4life (Vapor King), Cigeasy, and Mist-Stix. The vapor production, throat hit, and longevity of the cartos rank in that same order -- VK=Best, Cigeasy=good, Mist-Stix=okay. Just my experience!

I haven't ordered from Cigeasy yet, but I totally agree that VK carts are superior to Mist-Stix carts.

FBs again? well I would have to say when it comes to cartimizers I would think price would be important.wouldn't you? I mean its the juice that would make the difference if the batts are the same, and if that's so I would pay less for a product with first time "bad" vape and then refill that cheaper cart with my favorite juice... or get blanks and fill them with the same said juice...IMO

Very true, if it was just the juice. ( I wouldn't say a "bad" vape, just not as "good".) Price was why I ordered the different brands, but even after refilling them, they just weren't as good. My next experient will be with blanks.

I've got several different items for my KR 808D 1. It's kind of a VK hybrid now. I've gotten carts from several vendors and to me they are all the same. I like the coffee's and the Marlboro flavors the best. Coffee vaps a bit better, but the taste of the marlboro is still 2nd to none for me. I've also added some vanilla and coconut to the mix and and can get a great taste and vapor. That's with the batteries. With a pass-thru they all vap pretty well at 5v, but I lose taste and I'd rather have the flavor then tons of vapor. Your going to have to experiment a bit. As far as price this will never begin to approach what my analog habit was so at this point it's not a consideration. Analog free since Aug 22.

I found that carts in foil packaging are not as good as in paper packs. Moreover, they are really not good. I bought couple months ago few packs of R4, cola, srtwbry, 555 don't remember where (nhaler or miststix) and they got nasty taste after 15-20 drags. VK is the best anyway except price, but considering Steve's suprise bonuses I got with last 2 orders it is pretty good too.

According to one of the KR808D-1 suppliers: all cartomizers come from the same factory, filled with the same Dekang liquid at the factory.

However, since I purchased my very first e-cig (KR808D-1) back in June, both the batteries and carts have been improved and upgraded several times. The carts last longer and it is harder to get that burnt taste that I had experienced back then (which is why I switched away from the KR808D-1).

If that is correct, what might explain perceived differences among various suppliers' carts is when they were manufactured. I believe some shipments sit in Customs, sometimes for months.

This is correct if you search different suppliers forums meticulously you will see that there are different perceptions of cartomizers at different times...Also if you look at flavors you will see that all the available flavors are pretty similar but have different names on the sites, but if you buy them and compare they are the same markings...Ex: Peach and Peach Cobbler....SOme people will swear that others are better or worse for whatever reason..Maybe to justify paying more or whatever but there is only one factory that makes true KR808D-1 carts...One supplier recently ran a sale on BAD carts yet also claims to have better carts...2 different factories??? Or two different runs??? You decide...There are also several different models od connectors that have been made...The only current battery being manufactured in auto is 2 hole...In manual 3 hole unslotted....All others are old battery stock that was either left over or stuck in customs...

Agree with Don and Drew. The variation of the carts is due to their age(date of manufacture), storage, etc. It has nothing to do with which reseller has better carts. They all get them from the same Kanger factory. They're all filled with Dekang juice, unless the seller got blanks and filled with their own flavors.

Well, that provides some pretty good confirmation of what that supplier said to me. [It wasn't Drew, by the way, but the "less difficult" guy <-- Get it?:D

All KR808D-1s are created equal (paraphrasing Thomas Jefferson) ... but some are more equal than others (George Orwell). That greater equality is claimed by some (through hype) and executed by others (via care in selection and personalized service).
