Are juice components affected by light?

Having read that glass is probably the best way to go, I will likely invest in some glass bottles for my DIY adventures.

I am curious though about one thing. Hopefully some of you bright people know how the various components are affected by light and if it's better to go with blue or amber glass bottles over clear ones.

If your liquids will contain nicotine, always use colored glass. Light will tan (darken) your nicotine. Some flavorings may also be affected by light.

ah fair enough! I don't use nicotine, but decided on blue one because they are pretty. (that and some flavorings could be affected by light) Thank you for the reply!! Luv, Froggie
