yeah, there will always be people who think something is overpriced or something if just right though. their reasonings behind it are different though. From what I see here though, people who are saying it is a ripoff compare it to the price it costs for them to make their own and they say the stuff they make cheaper tastes good or as good. People who are saying they are fine with the price are saying they cannot duplicate the recipe/flavor from a premium vendor which is a good reason i agree, but then people trying to justify it just for the fact that 'because premium is just better than any DIY' is just flat out wrong.

Agree with all that. I can make a couple of really good DIYs, so I will never again *buy* a pre-made strawberry cream or coffee/cappucino vape, because what I make is better -- to me.

However I can't [yet] make a blueberry-pastry anything that even comes close to the yumminess of the Blueberry Muffin I get from sweet-vapes. Eventually I'll probably stumble on something I like just as well if not better than that one, and I won't need to buy it anymore either. Till then... $9.95+shipping a month isn't so bad.

That's what you are not getting!
For 1- no one speaks for me but me.
For 2- when i pay for any liquid its because i want to. If something is not worth the price asked I wont pay it.
Being over the age of 18 and legally an adult I have a fully functional brain(arguable point for some) and dont need nor want an anonymous 'audiophile' speaking for me.
For 3- as of this moment the feds have not intervened in the vaping industry and if/when that happens we will probably wish prices went back to where they are now.

I dont understand how the concept of an unregulated free market system is so complicated.
If the vendors keep their con artist prices, if and when high taxes happen, I'll probably be damned back to cigarettes. Because we know these juice companies will not accommodate their massive markups to help ease the pain of the tax hikes. So hopefully vendors like ITC, Vape Wild and Mt Baker stay in business.

And I really don't understand your hostility. Is calling out the lack of industry integrity, somehow hurting you? Because it feels like I just called out Halo on an Xbox board.

I would definitely not consider Halo premium. I don't like anything they make -- none of their so-called "tobacco" flavors taste the slightest thing like any tobacco I've ever tasted! And people say, oh it's the high PG you don't like -- BS! Everything I make is 83%-84% PG! I realize that tobacco-flavored vapes are nothing like real smoking, but some "virginia" and smokier flavors are in the same neighborhood as tobacco; Halo's don't even come close.

I liked Halo when I first started vaping but their juices promptly changed flavor on me. Belgian Cocoa starts tasting like a stale Tootsie Roll and Voodoo and Midnight Apple start tasting very chemical. But because of their $20 price, dark blue bottle and fancy graphic, it's precieved as premium.

Funny, do you know how much a pack of cigarettes costs to make?

Even at $12/bag you are getting ripped off. Tobacco is easy to grow...

k, pretty sure it takes time, water, sunlight to grow tobacco as well as other processes to dry and cut it. I can buy flavorings and nicotine on the internet and get it within a few days? and mix it in less than a minute? I dont see the point of you bringing up all these irrelevant comparisons to other thing.

smiley [emoji23] no point in arguing, nothing will make this guy see someone elses point of view because he is just trying to force his point of view that our DIY liquids are bad.
Yep. And since the RYO companies weren't price gouging when they became taxed, they managed to still stay affordable. There are also pipe blends so cheap that you can roll five cartons for under $20.

RYO Tobacco is how I discovered vaping to begin with since my tobacco shop expanded into a vape shop.

Really? My stance is that commercial e-liquid isn't a ripoff and that many fool themselves into thinking what they make is better, because it is cheap...

Not to mention the cost of and the taxes of the giant farms they are grown on. It's kind of like how the vineyard cost is added to a bottle of wine.

Yet the opposite is true because it seems to be human nature to base quality on cost.

You seem to have a stance on a lot of things though. If I remember correctly, you along with that guy Sub4me were defending the FDA Regulation which would cripple this industry in that giant thread a couple months back.

Not really. I can easily tell the difference between a $.50 screwdriver and a $20 Wiha...

Wouldn't that would make you happy, since you are out to defend us poor souls who are getting ripped off?...
