Another thought is to grind down the beauty ring a tad so it will allow the connection. Don't know if that is a good solution or not.

Wasn't there at one time a problem with some beauty rings being too thick?

Something is tickling my memory bank but it's not quite clear..

I’ve got 6 other provari’s it works on, so it’s fine that only 1 doesn’t fit. I’m still happy!

I think it looks good even without it, leftandsparky, but you are the one that has to be satisfied with it, so it sounds like modifying the tank possibly might be the way to go. I have a few tanks that have had pretty short pins, and I've been able to just unscrew them the tiniest bit without leaking, if you have another tank you might want to pair with your new Provari, maybe that one can handle the 510 pin being modified without leaking? Bummer though, I'm sorry it's not working out fantastic, but you'll get it solved, I'm sure. :)

I have a problem.... it seems that the pin is pushed down more than my others. I can’t use my cone cover with this one. I have to take it off to be able to vape. What can I do? My cover and tank will work on all my other provaris.

I use a tiny circuit board spacer that Mad Vapes sells/sold? They work great for me.

If you have a heat sink or air flow controller it might work for you and add a touch of bling, too.:)

And, there is the option of trying another beauty ring. I'm partial to the svos...ones from UK supplier.

I’m fine with it! This was a store display, and I think some people over tightened their tanks when they tried it.

I've bought beauty rings from a few different places. I do have some beauty rings that are taller. I've thought about grinding them down.

Okay. So. Since I have the identical tank, and on one of my mods I do have the problem of the center pin on this tank not making contact, I went ahead and bought some brass center pin screws that I believe will be the right size for this tank. (if not oh well can always sell them on ebay)

Had to buy 50, and went ahead and bought 10mm in length to be certain, and planning on just using the dremmel to cut them down to the right size.

IF this works, Ill just mail you some @leftyandsparky - no worries. It didnt cost me anything, but they ARE coming on the slow boat from china.. lol

If they dont work, then oh well.. lol
