Are the servers having problems, or did we just overload them with too many members?

well, sarge called it 'a work in progress' - maybe we'll hear today if it's getting closer to a resolution. in the meanwhile patience is needed 
and to avoid double or triple postings - do not click on the pop-up box, cancel the whole thing, and refresh the page. 9 times out of 10 you'll find your post did go through .........

On my iPad, I don't get that message. I'm just basically in, what we used to call, hourglass hell for about a minute or so, then bam! Double post. At least it will let me edit the double post in half the time.
Does anyone know if ECF is aware the issue is happening again?
i'm sure they are!
btw just had a double post in another thread without getting the 'leave this page' box popping up - definitely getting worse. time to do something else while ecf is working on getting this fixed.

The site is practically down. 20 to 45 seconds to get a page load for the last hour.
The hamsters were old and tired, so they were replaced with a young and energetic group. The forum should be running smoothly now.
Don't ask what happened to the old hamsters, but chipped beef has been added to the menu for today.

The servers tend to slow down when both Angus and I are on at the same time. They just can't handle that much awesome at once.
