Are there any hybrid analog-e cig smokers in the house?

How many people here still smoke regular paper cigarettes and vape, with no intention whatsoever of giving up analogs and enjoy both?

I gave up analogs but was curious as to how many people take up vaping and have no problem smoking an analog now and then. I already know that if I was cut off from vaping, like I could not charge my PV, that I'd go straight back to smoking rather than do without.

For quite a while I would smoke the very occasional cigarette that I would bum off someone. I didn't feel guilty or anything about it, but didn't really enjoy it much either. Tho I did occasionally desire that burning tobacco taste.

I had come to accept that there is no accurate representations of tobacco, until I came across naturally extracted tobaccos. Now with NETs I can get the flavor of high quality tobaccos that replicate not the experience of a commercial cigarette, but the experience of smoking a tobacco that actually tastes really good. Now I have no need for the occasional smoke.

After about 2 weeks with no paper ciggies, they started to taste really bad to me . .and make me feel sick, too. My wife still smokes analogs so they are always laying around .. but I am not tempted in the least . .and the smell on her seems to bother me more and more, too. Hopefully she'll take up vaping someday soon.

I would only smoke one if, like you said, I was cut off from vaping for some reason.

I just can't smoke anymore, even though the smell has really begun to bother me, if I had one then it would likely result in going back to smoking. I can't and will not take that chance.

My husband and I, still smoke about 5-6 analogs a day. We are hoping to eventually wean completely off the analogs, but decided at the start that we would not feel guilty for any analog we smoked during the day.

We have gone from 2 packs a day to 5-6 cigarettes a day, all in all we are pretty pleased with that progress. Our new plan is that any analogs smoked at home have to be done out of the house. We are hoping that will encourage us to think long and hard about if we really want that analog or not, because, baby it's cold outside.

I really like that attitude. Ecigs work great in that you can use them along with smoking and so often people eventually decide they like vaping better anyways. No reason to condemn or guilt yourself. Progress not perfection. Some pipe and cigar smokers will still treat themselves to that occasionally. Cigarette smokers less so because they really weren't a treat anyways. The dangers of smoking relates highly to amount, so any cutting back should be celebrated.

I know my personality to well, if I would allow myself to rationalize why i could have one cigarette today, then tomorrow I would find a way to rationalize why I could have two and in a week I would back up to 2 1/2 packs a day.

Sadly if it becomes impossible to vape I probably would go back to the stinkies.

Everyone's different, but for me now after vaping a couple years I could honestly say that I wouldn't go back to smoking cigs if I couldn't vape. I'm not nearly as addicted to vaping as I was smoking. I still love nicotine, but don't NEED it like I did before. The hobby part's what I like so I would probably pick up smoking a pipe and cigars.

I'm not nearly as addicted to vaping as I was smoking. I still love nicotine, but don't NEED it like I did before. The hobby part's what I like so I would probably pick up smoking a pipe and cigars.

I agree with you, I wouldn't go back to smoking cigs if I couldn't vape anymore. The first week I started vaping I smoked half a marlboro light and two menthol cigs, never looked back after that and never wanted another one. I smoked for seven years.

Do you guys/gals notice that analogs hit you a lot harder/quicker, too? My first week of vaping I was chain-vaping and felt like I was starving for nicotine. Now that I've adjusted, the analogs just hit me too hard and make me feel icky.

Another funny thing is that when I did try an analog after several days or a week without one . .my very first thought was "not enough vapor" - and I actually turned it over to look at it . . as if maybe the atty wasn't screwed down enough

there several chemicals in those stinkies that make the nicotine hit a lot harder !! ammonia is one of them

i've been off the stinkies for 14 months now and pretty much vape 0mg juice,,so i can go quite awhile with vapin,,went a solid four hours today and didn't bother me in the slightest !!
