Are these cotton balls safe to use as wicks?

Just wondering if these cotton balls that i own are good to use on a rebuildable dripper. Please let me know

Should be fine. You might want to boil it and let dry before use just to be safe.

Those are basically what I use. I know some people will search out the sterile ones from the first aid section, but I just stole some from my wife that were in the makeup section. I don't boil/dry them first, but if you're worried there might be some cleaning/bleaching agents in them just boil them and let them dry before using them.

I suppose it depends on how cotton feels about it, if he doesn't like it, you might get hurt.
