Ever wonder if maybe we are the test subject for big tobacco?
Why I thought about it.
It makes sense, they don't want to kill customers, they want to keep selling us products and make money. They also are one of the last companies that haven't figured out a way to outsource jobs overseas. These certainly gets that job done..
There you go, they outsource, to save cost on labor and supplies, and overhead. They keep profits by selling a "safe" nicotine product..
I wonder if this is all controlled by big tobacco, and we are the lab rats..
Just food for thought.. I read a lot of conspiracy theory stuff, and I always try to look at the bigger picture..

I don't understand this thinking. If you are a lab rat for BT or BP or anyone, it is of your free will. All of us started smoking because we made the choice to do so. All of us started vaping because we made a choice to do so. If we choose not to smoke and/or vape, it is our choice in the end. Millions of people have quit smoking, and although it may not be easy; it clearly is possible....same with vaping. The same is true of losing weight or any other difficult habit to break. Please don't give away your basic human right to make good and bad choices and your ability to conquer your addictions in favor of claiming victim status. It diminishes the power of individual choice.

I do too. Make me think..
They've been working on stuff for years.
I read this article from PBS, and these devices are incredibly similar.
It is very interesting. Indeed..

Especially the one that looks exactly like the Stick. If BT developed it and then perfected it, they deserve credit, don't you think?

I never said anything about being victim to anything..
Just a point of view that I have not seen anywhere else..
I smoke cause I like it. I bought an e cig to stop, and I like that too.
I spent my own money and my own free will chose to do it.
That does not prove that BT hasn't financed these things, or hold large shares of the companies that produce them.
Do you know if they have anything to do with them? Cause I sure don't.
It might well be test marketing. And they are doing a very good job at it, and providing and refining an amazing product that NEEDS to happen and has needed to happen for the last 20 years..
I think it's great. But I also think BT has it's hand in it somehow.
But I'm cool with that.

Lab Rats, or marketing test subjects.

These Chinese companies have probably been lined up to manufacture this stuff for 10 years. The stuff coming from them now is probably just to soften up the market and get us all hooked. IDK ??
There you go, that's a better word for it.
And that's what I'm thinking too.. They didn't have the technology in 94 to get it done, in 2004 Ruyun (sp) invented this thing, 2005 it was leaked that PM had a secret inhaler. They released this thing on the low at truck stops, and mall kiosks under all different brands, so they aren't associated with it, an take no risks. Right after they are actually in favor of the new FDA deal. Why.. Because they are already prepared with a plan. Already test marketing it. The electronic cigarette. Just wait and watch. Read this in a few years. This will gain FDA approval, and PM will release it as the refined finished product. All ready to market to the consumers FDA approved and all.. Which is why, the product hasn't been pulled. And never will be. I think it's absolutely correct that what we are using is beta testing.
Give it a few years.. I'd bet money on it.

anchorage, ak
We are not lab rats............Phillip Morris has been hiding this **** for 15 years cause they're making a killing on cigs...........along come the chinese producing e-cigs and PM has to get the ACS, ALA and AHA to help pass laws to stop these things long enough they can get production rolling and take the market back

Basically they will break these out now that they have no choice and corner the market before the chinese do. WATCH HOW QUICKLY PM'S VERSION GETS FDA AND WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION APPROVAL

They don't need to test these...........if you have the power to keeps cigs legal. you can certainly get these approved.

edit.........the reason I know PM is not behind the ones we're vaping now is because they are way too affordable
