When I hit a Reo bottom feeder that stopped any desire for the "next great thing" dead in it's tracks.
:2c:

Likewise . . . It was an amazing revelation. ;)

+1 on the REO theory. Once i got mine i stopped looking for new gear (except for the occasional bottom fed atty of course!)

I didn't buy any upgrades for 6 months after I started vaping, from that point on I have been constantly widow shopping and picking up new items here and there. Unfortunately that is how I am with most things, cars, electronics, fishing tackle etc.....what I have is great and I am perfectly happy......but that new "thingy" will probably make me happier. Or just poorer.

I hit that plateau a long time ago. Carto tanks sealed the deal for me. I never had issues with batteries or mods outside of the normal ones. Never had trouble finding juice I liked. It was always the delivery device that gave me troubles. Once I figured carto tanks in and out, I was good as gold. I rarely if ever search vape related stuff these days.

Yup. I bought, borrowed, traded for, and/or tried it all for a couple of years. Then... I bought a couple of REOs. After that, I didn't buy anything but juice, attys, and occasional replacement batteries for more than 2 years. When I finally did succumb to my desire for something new, I bought another REO and a couple of Reomizers. I didn't need them - and I wasn't looking for something because what I had wasn't good enough. I bought out of desire, not necessity.

There is no such thing as an "upgrade" from my 2 1/2 year old Reo VV Woodville. I really love my new SL Grand, but it isn't an "upgrade". -- I'll add that no "upgrade" exists for the SL Grand either. There isn't anything better than that on the market. I just wanted it because it looks cool.

However, these RM2's and RM3s are pretty impressive compared to my favorite commercial attys. In fact, I can't believe my standards used to be so low when I compare the flavor and vapor production of the RM2 or RM3 to the hh.357 and i06's and Aeros I stuck with for so long. -- That was a happy accident. If I would have never tried an RM2, I would have never felt dissatisfied with the hh.357 or i06 or aero. I'd have never known nor cared what I was missing. I was quite satisfied with any of those or even a good 'ol cisco 306 when availability was an issue for my favorites (often). Now, I'll never buy another commercial atty. I feel a little bad since Iken and Avid treated me very well for so very long...

Maybe another 2 1/2 years will pass before something strikes my fancy again. Maybe nothing ever will. Don't know. Don't care. What I do know is that what I have works great.

i was there after i switched to an ego from a blu. the ego is all i needed really, the more advanced stuff is too complicated for me and the blu was terrible. all ive done since then is replace the tank but that was out of necessity. right now im happy with my x2o battery and nautilus tank. still looking for the perfect juice though. i like pure PG and have tried some different flavors but havent found one i would gladly buy again. i have a coffee flavor that im going to try once my watermelon runs out

Yeah, I'm pretty much "there" :) I never could afford to start a real "collection" of PV's: I was so thrilled to be saving so much money by not buying cigarettes! I've seen some units that I wouldn't mind trying, and perhaps owning; but once I got to the 5v GLV2, and then the 6v VMX (developed by a local B&M), it seemed like it couldn't get much better...

Except for finding "just the right liquid." That's subjective, of course; but that's where most of my vaping money goes, along with cartomizers. I've recently been "ruined" for the mid-level nicotine concentrations by trying some really fine stuff with a 24 mg/ml concentration.

Luckily for me, I didn't have to go through too much to find my perfect vape. I started on V2's for a month then got a Provari. I tried different types of tanks and liked the Cartos for the most part but I wanted more flavor. I was constantly searching and wanting different things in search of my Holy Grail. At month 3 I found it. Yes, another vote for the REO. I now have 6 of them as 1 is simply not enough. My very first impression on the REO was WOW!! Now and for the last 9 months, I don't care what is coming out and I do not search for anything other than more REOs and maybe a few Attys. For me, I sincerely doubt that anything can top the durability, dependability, simplicity and flavor of the REO.

Do you keep all 9 running or do some get vacation?

Lol...... I keep 2 in rotation usually. My Woodvil is very special and is used on special occasions or just for when I want spoil myself. The others, I trade them out about once a week so nobody is left out or feeling neglected.

The Reo was suggested to be early on. However, I went in a different direction . . . Quite a long and costly direction, only to end up where I should have been.
