Hell if I remember, Katyaya!!!!!!! ahhahaahahahahaha!

I'll go with MAYBE. I think this is a pic of the inside of the case I had. Can you make out the interior contents??

That wasn't a battery, was it??

Oh no. A charging case for our kr808-1s! Check! Had one of those, too. :D

And a bag of e-cig adapters--kr808>510, 510>kr808, kr808>4091, and so on... :vapor:

Well, considering that our beloved kr808 connection has gone the way of the dodo (may she rest in peace), they should have stuck with the 510, like everybody else, no? :D
Yea, nothing else fit them, so it didn't take long to move on.
Seems like they wanted to be like Apple and keep people locked into their system?
Was a joyful month or two though!

Going back to the 22mm vs 24mm discussion, I've just received a promo email from 3F showing they have a 22mm / 2ml version of the Berserker on pre-order (it's called the "Berserker Mini" apparently). Would it be reasonable to suspect there's a 22mm / 2ml version in the offing for the Ares too? I'd said earlier that I can't see them ignoring the EU market and from a manufacturing perspective, I'm guessing it's easier to shrink the diameter rather than the height.

That and 24mm / 2ml may lead people to think you sat on your tank ;)

It was inevitable, was it not? ;)

Looking forward to the first impressions/reviews for this tank. Since my disappointment with the Berserker, I'm finding it hard to pull the trigger on any new MTL tanks (the Siren V2 coverage hasn't convinced me). So...we'll see if this tank gets my money or if it's more of the "same thing, different tank". Thanks to those who jump first. ;)

Well I will be ordéring the tank in a few weeks. Then I can do a comparison between the siren v2 and the ares. They are very similar tanks in my opinion.

Yep. I agree that they look similar, but they could perform very differently. That's what I'm waiting to hear....

What is even easier than changing either the diameter or the height is just inserting a silicone plug that reduces capacity to 2ml. This what numerous other tanks have done (such as the Govad and the Serpent SMM for sure). This way there is only one product that can be sold everywhere. The plug is removable though.

T for Texas!
I'm thinking the Ares will get the edge, I have the Siren V2 and they made a lot of improvements but wish they still used the air diffuser from V1, I think it improves the flavor. V2 flavor is good but not as good as V1.
This is why I like what the Cthulhu Hastur (and a few others) have done by providing different airflow inserts so that different choices can be made for the air under the coil. Cheap, simple solution that provides the user with a myriad of options.

Very interesting analysis bob, glad you posted that, because I was wondering about that very same thing myself.:thumb:

I have found the Berserker to be a Very Close second to the Siren V1 in flavor, close enough that I vape my Berserker most of the day now, BUT, I use my Menthol/Mint mix in it, and there are not as many different flavor notes in that as some of you might be vaping in your juices. My Menthol/Mint is sort of a Simple mix compared to what some of you vape, yours might be a more complex mix, and may notice a bigger difference in the two RTA's when using a juice with a lot of different flavor notes. That might be a better test than what I am using here with my squeeze. (Squeeze = Juice in my parlance)

I, for one, can't wait to get my hands on a Ares RTA so I can compare it to my Siren V1, and Berserker. That should be an interesting exercise for sure.
