Two stainless screws from a different tank screwed into two opposite holes and then ground down as flush as possible not pretty but works.
Installing a horizontal coil was not to bad , have to change cotton more as it just goes thru the coil only not placed in there like the original vertical coil design.
Almost gave up on it when it kept flooding etc then decided to close off 2 of the holes on a whim and all of a sudden it worked just fine go figure.

After 4 months of use in rotation with cotton changing this setup is still working just fine no leakage with DIY e-liquid that is about 93% PG .

Posting this in case anyone wants/needs more Z-coils. Instead of later saying "I should've or could've gotten more when they were still available...." ....Kanger Wholesale still has some for $6.10/box for the 0.8ohm and 1.6ohm ones. Right now, they have 236 boxes of the 0.8ohm, but only the last 15 boxes of the 1.6ohm that they'll likely have before all the shipping ban :censored: hits the fan!

If you've never been to their site nor bought from them...you'll need to register for an account before you can see the prices and/or place an order. They DO sell retail as well as wholesale, despite their name having Wholesale in it. Here's a link to the page for the Zenith coils AKA Z-coils now.

Innokin Zenith Replacement Coil - 5PK

S/H is FREE with a $75 or more order total. Below that, the minimum S/H charge is $9.99. So, if you want Z-coils only to reach the Free S/H amount...you'll need to buy 13 boxes. Of course you could get fewer of them and add other things to your Cart to reach that amount, too.
