Not in the slightest but then I dont mind paying a premium for a quality juice from a vendor that Ive trusted for years. In all the time Ive ordered from them, every single bottle has been spot on and remarkably consistent.

Sometimes you really do get what you pay for. I didnt buy cheap cigarettes when I smoked.I dont buy cheap juices either.

That's the thing , I don't buy cheap either and the DIY step was carefully planned to actually allow me to vape better controlled mixes.

I get my concentrates from only two sources , Mt Baker which everybody HAS to agree is High Quality and Crystal Liquid which is a premium supplier also. The Nic juice I got was from , what I taught at the time, a good source turned out they had no clue what the nic base had in it.

For example I always order from wizard labs and their product is top not to me.

Wizard has been the only vendor I've ordered DIY supplies from. I may try others, but they are definitely my go-to for DIY supplies. I really want to stop by their facility the next time I'm in Orlando.

I have to say that the first 2 bottles of Nic I bought, was clear, but did have a Pepper taste to it..took a lot of adding to get it to go away...I thought that maybe ALL Nic was like that...that is until I read the Rave reviews on here for Wizard Labs and decided to place an order with them, even though I didn't need more Nic...just wanted to try them out. When I finished the bottle I already had opened, I started mixing some of WL Nic...HUGE difference...there was NO Over powering Pepper flavor!

Just from reading the OP first post, and the attitude they seemed to have gotten from the Vendor...plus reading about a Certain Vendor that sells Nic/DIY..people saying how Rude he was to them...I'm almost certain I know who you bought your Nic from, and it's probably the same place I bought my 2 bottles of Pepper tasting Nic.

I was hoping they'd stay in Coral Springs. My mom is in Hollywood.

What I'm talking about a Pepper taste...is not like a Hot pepper type pepper...It's like someone poured Black Pepper in the bottles.

Nic has that pepper taste/feeling to it. I would strongly suggest ordering a test kit to see what the % of nic you have. I really wouldn't vape it until you know for sure.

Now that I'm dropping down my nic, 24mg has such a strong peppery feeling to me. I'm amazed that 24mg is where I started at. I did need it at the time. I'm now down to 9mg. Anything higher seems peppery to me again.

Please let us know. If there is a vendor that is making mistakes, the community Needs to know. From your posts, I take it that this vendor is a registered supplier on a DIFFERENT forum, not ECF?

Do a search in the search function for Box Elder. Not to scare you, but to be aware. If it turns out that a mistake was made, the vendor really needs to be announced.

ETA: Link to Box Elder info. It was a little digging to find it. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...on-we-have-problem-nic-titration-results.html

I too am sorry you are having a bad experience, with the nic and the seller both. I am not scared or concerned, the suppliers I buy from have good feedback here. I bought one of these- http://www.eliquidtest.com/BuyNow.aspx -to test if I feel the need to. I haven't yet, but it's here if I need it. I agree with kabonk, some nic tastes peppery and not in a pleasant way.

Thanks for this link.~

This is a really good idea! Especially the way I mix. Thanks.
Since my start of DIY, I follow 1 rule.

Try your base straight. Make a small mix to your desired nic level and Vape it! No additives other than PG and /or VG.

Once you know what your bases taste like, you know if something is wrong with it, or if it's your mixing that made it bad.

A plain juice base should be mostly tasteless, possibly a bit of pepper tang, and an after taste of sweetness. It may be orderless in the bottle, or have a slight bitter smell to it. Not everyone smells it exactly the same. But once you know what it smells and tastes like, you will know where the problems are.

I can't speak for the OP...but the Vendor I'm talking about is in fact a Registered Vendor here on ECF..thats where I found this Vendor at...from here. Again...I thought this was normal for Nic...until I got some WizardLab Nic and could tell a huge difference. I just learned to cut it waaay down! :)
