I maxed out with 28-24 claptons at 0.36ohms in order for it to work i had to clamp down on the leads and flatten or else the screws wouldn't pass without shorting. 7 wraps it vapes pretty good on my limited edition snow wolf 200w mod

Ah so the problem was the vertical coils. Heard someone saying that he gets a great flavour with vertical setup so I thought vertical is always better but not for some apparently? Or is there anyone who get a nice flavour at high wattage? I see so much vape and my room gets foggy but flavour doesn't really follow the amount of vape.

Will try the horizontal build now. I hope it won't leak. Thanks for the new input!

Yes verticals produce great flavor at high watts 28-32 kanthal claptons 7 wraps but its a tight fit vapes great at 60-100 watts can probably got higher but it gets too hot for my liking, but i'm sure if i'd open the airflow all the way it'd be alright tons of flavor though

Well, it happened... Finally had my Ah-Ha moment with this tank. took some 26g kanthal, wrapped it on a screw 7 wraps and mounted the coils. they were kinda inbetween the posts and almost touching each other so when I pulsed them so they were glowing I took a 5/32 drill bit and pulled them out to the edge of the juice well so the finished size was 5/32 spaced. wicked with KGD tails cut to just on the deck and fluffed out a bunch. Started looking at my juice and realized I was about out of my favorite strawberry milkshake so I made a new bottle of it and then filled this tank. Finally have good flavor coming out. Not sure what was going on, this build look an awful lot like all the rest i put in here that didnt have much flavor, but this one works well and tastes good.

Thanks for all the advise and for putting up with me.

The difference might be the inner diameter?

I recall someone advising people using thinner wire to use smaller id.

well I have been all over 24g 26g 28g and 30G with inner diameters fro 2.5 to 3.5.... horizontal, vertical, wicked tight, wicked loose, long tails laying on the deck, medium tails just touching the deck, short tails dangling like my hopes and dreams above the deck. Twisted builds, clapton builds, single double and triple strand builds. stock driptip, no drip tip, different driptip. 4 air holes two air holes and no air holes opened. For the record that last one really didn't work at all.... no flavor OR vapor, just fyi. air holes centered on the middle of the coils, air holes at a 45 angle to the coils. Wicking inside the coil, wicking wrapped outside the coil, wicking left on the table instead of being installed with the coils. again, fyi, that last one dosent work at all.... it just leaks.

Im just glad it finally got sorted out!

Today i was feeling some pain my chest and later when i changed the wick i found some plasticky piece on the top of the deck. The bottom part of this got burnt a bit but I have no idea how this went in or dont even know what it is as this clear red piece doesn't look familiar to me. I hope this wont happen to u guys and I hope I'm OK lol

BTW thanks for sharing many builds. I'm finally having a good vape out of this.

holy cow! did something fall through the drip tip maybe? you didnt notice the taste at all? Glad you found it. hope you figure out what it was and above all avoid it in the future!!
Haven't seen anything going in through the drip tip and really have no clue how it went in. I didn't notice the weird taste or anything at all either. but lucky I wanted to rewick today lol

Talking about hardcore vaping. I hope you didn't inhale much.
So that's why they introduced the "anti spitback" drip tip...
That's exactly what I thought. I could have avoided this if I had the stock drip tip instead of no drip tip or maybe could have swallowed the entire piece stuck in the anti spitback lol
Thanks for the concern anyway!

Im really sorry to post comments conteniously which isnt related directly to the tank. but lemme post the last one as I think I found what it was.

It was really hard when I picked it up from the deck, but now when I touched it again i found it really soft and smelled familiar. I'm guessing it's a piece of sweet potato. Yeah I know it sounds stupid but I believe that's a piece of baked sweet potato that I had in this afternoon... And I feel like I vaped between... I don't know why I still feel pain inside my chest but glad it wasn't as bad as plastic. Thanks for ur comments and concern guys. wipe ur mouth before u vape and don't vape while eating.

You sure you weren't trying to come up with a new juice flavor??? ;)
