Mine got delivered this morning.

I ordered the 6ml tank, as they didn't have the 3ml in stock, but was able to order the 3ml top section separately so have both capacity options. I also ordered a NI200 stock OCC coil to try out.

It was delivered to my work, so haven’t been able to try any builds on the velocity deck yet, but have tried the stock nickel coil and 3ml top section. So far seems to working well; with the 2 air holes open the air flow seems to be slightly higher than a STM. I did notice a difference in air flow and flavour, depending on with pair of holes are left open, which I guess is due to the way the air holes in the stock coil line up with the airflow holes in the tank. No leaking issues so far, but I have been closing the air holes with the silicon band when it’s in my pocket.

I’ll try building on the deck tonight, I’ve not had a lot of success in the past with my own builds on other RBAs (sub tank mini and TFV4 mini) largely due to wicking or leaking issues, So was after some advice on the best ‘starter’ build. I was thinking of trying dual horizontal SS316 26 gauge coils. I purchased a UD wire box along with the tank so have a few options to try (Clapton, Kanthal, Nickel, Nichrome and SS)

One other question, For TC do SS coils need to be spaced?
Got mine yesterday and did my 1st ever vertical coils. Dead easy on this deck. Exactly the same as horizontal but put in vertical lol. I've currently got 9 wraps of 0.5/24 gauge reading 0.35 ohm. Works great, only problem is, it seems to be pot luck whether or not your coils line up with air holes. Vertical seems to work best for most people so give it a go. :)

I had a 24/28 Clapton running in mine while we are on the topic of claptons. It was reading at .21 then I decided to throw a hive build in there at .14....I turned this thing up to 130 watts with 70/30 in it and I couldn't see anything in front of me  :vapor:I love this tank. It does like drinking the juice.

Clapton are outside my experience.

But that xcube will perform better the closer you can get to 0.4 ohm.

With Clapton, in an Aromamizer, that resistance is not going to happen, just saying you want to get it as high as you can.

Hope your build comes out well, and I hope we hear back from you on how it vapes.

First build was with 6 wraps on 3mm reading at .25ish, wicked with Cotton Bacon. The coils didn't seem to like it, as I'm tasting the cotton now after a dozen or so good draws at 60W. Once the room clears out, I'll try it with Rayon for a bit, then try TC mode.

A thousand thank yous!!!!

No problem. I saw it on the Steam Crave site the other day when I ordered a package of them. I've been trying to find them as slotted, but without putting out $55 through Fastenal for a box of a zillion of the little things, I can't locate any.

Thanks for the help. One ratty piece of sandpaper and two hours later lol, coils are now perfectly aligned. I have a black rdta and was a bit worried about messing the paint up but no probs. Cheers fella :)

Crap, I copied the wrong link.. didnt mean to paste the link to the hex head versions.

I filed down the edge of my deck so now I have one set of holes that aligns perfectly with my coils. Drilled out the air holes with a 1/8 drill bit (3.135 or something like that) and it seems to work better. Still gets outperformed by my crown and Indulgence MT.... so this tank is going into my drawer of ".... that dont like me" Im done wasting time on it.

Hey guys, well I've read every post to date and decided to join.
First I want to thank everyone for all their input I've learned a lot.

Things I've learned: coil- vertical rocks! place just below top of posts.
wicking- rayon, less is more, scottish roll tight and snug and just enough to touch base, top trimmed close.
After building and wicking prime and away you go, vaping nirvana!
Love this tank!!!
