Maybe I'm missing something.... But just did my first ever clapton build in my life.... 24awg kanthal a1 core wrapped with 30awg kanthal al. 5 wraps ohming in at .26 Having to run it at 80 plus watts to get anything more than just clouds out of it but the flavor still just doesn't seem to be there. I don't know if I'll build anymore because it just seems like a lot of work and a lot of battery when I can't tell a difference in flavor between it and my usual dual 7 wrap 24awg. I've done tons of standard builds and wicking in this thing so I know what my juice that I diy should taste like.
Claptons have a larger ramp up time, Try it on a series mod. Thats were Claptons truely shine. My go to build is a 8-10 wraps 26(N80) 32(KA1) on 3mm's dual coil. Comes out to around .3-.5 depending on the atomizer

Thx for the tip Nick. My vape mail supplies actually came in this evening lol. Haven't fooled with any of it yet but hopefully I'll get some free time tomorrow to wrap up some different types and try. The first cpl I tried were with the stuff I had lying around. I had plenty of wire but not what I really wanted to try and build with to maximize the potential.

So does the kayfun 4 though. I would be inclined to coil it like the Serpent and have my wick tail on both sides if I wanted single coil.

And the offset post holes seem like a pain for dual.
Hmm.. hadn't noticed the offset in the posts. And on closer inspection, it looks like the wire holes are slotted parallel to the juice feed holes which will make for some interesting legging on a single coil in there..

Hmmm. Interesting spin on the Aromamizer RDTA concept. Top fill, integrated AFC, but you'd better like the SS drip tip.

Ordered at FT. With code RMBBUST it came to $16 and change. BTW, I was wrong about the top fill. But I don't care. I want that deck to do a big single coil (fused Clapton, triple or quad twisted, etc.) with big wicks fed by four juice holes. Should make for one big and juicy single.

I wonder if any of the parts are swappable with the Aromamizer. I'd love to have that top cap and tip on my 3ml.

I just love this thing...I guess that's why I have 4.:D All 4 have my current "go to" build. 24 ga kanthal @ .33ohms @ 35-45 watts. It just suits my vaping style to a T.

Heck, I might be set for a while.......

Unless there's an early release of the v2.....

Or unless I reconsider and get the Limited edition.....

Or unless.............................

Im in the same boat have a 6ml that im not digging.

cant get the warmth i want without dry hits and i tend to chain vape hits trying various wick densities and heights.

The griffin really seems more like a fit for me

I really like the crown! Holds a lot of juice, easy to use, great airflow ring, and it's top fill!

Wut ;) you marveling at my supreme laziness?

:censored:, I don't even return defective vape stuff cuz I ask myself "is it worth my time or trouble?" :D And I never ever allow myself to think what my time is worth when I'm futzing with an atty or building a mod. Vape economics is a whole other (unreal) world. It gets really funny (sad?) when we try to relate the two. I'm laughing with you, Pappy.

Hi.
Can anyone tells me if you can put this Aromamizer anti spit-back drip tip on different tanks like the Crown or the OBS TVCT?
Thanks in advance!
While it will fit in a Crown, it does so just barely and the chimney shaft is so close to the open sides of the anti spit back portion that it blocks about 90% of the air flow. I don't have an OBS TVCT so I can't answer that one for you. The top of the chimney portion that meets the 510 needs to be around 8.5 mm or larger to keep from blocking too much air.
