Zombo, I didn't get to a tc build yesterday. I think I have a cold :(
I have a cold too..and I'm hopped up on Dayquil woohooo party time!!:rickroll:

That's why I haven't trouble-shot (?) my build yet, just vaping my Lemo atm. Looking forward to getting it right as I really like the concept of this tank.

I'm experimenting with TC, but I have a feeling I'm going to go old-school again. I dunno, TC is great when I dial it in, but it's too fiddly. Just riding it out until I run out of Ti and my Radius arrives.

I dragged myself to my pain mgt dr yesterday, came home and went to bed. Got up for a couple hours, took care of the critters, watched a special on the 2014 Ohio State football season and fell back asleep.

Fiiinally came today. My god the velocity deck is so easy to build. My first time with clapton (UD's clapton is shockingly high quality from what I can tell, very tight consistent wraps) and it went in like a dream.

Slowly (very slowly) ramping it up in watts now. Judgement is undecided but all signs are...oh man pretty good. I think I'm well on my way to loving this tank.

I use the same Clapton wire in my aromamizer. I use the regular deck tho and I love it. I bought the roll of wire a month ago and still have the same dual coil setup in there.

This roll of Clapton wire should last me a gear easy. It was just on sale at vape101 for $5 and some change and I ordered 10 rolls of it

Success! After watching Rip Trippers' new video, I decided to try dual verticals. I like how he explained that with horizontals the air hits the cotton if it's not lined up properly. I'm sure someone probably mentioned that in this thread but I ignored it due to lack of gesticulation and witty remarks.

It's vaping great! Ten wraps, 26G Ti, 3mm ID...came out to 0.23 Ohms. Lower than I normally go, but the Ti (and dual) is dictating that...

My only worry is that it was a royal PITA to wick. I have never done verticals, and I'm curious how some of you insert your wicks.

I used the following method, but my coils were longer and it was really difficult squeezing my tweezers done there. I avoided the Rip Trippers method because I wasn't confident enough to use my fingers to insert the coils (I like using my bit as a jig to center my coils).

So the little allen key that comes with it for the grub screws is legit useless right? The thing stripped on me in the middle of my very first build, like two screws in, not to mention it was slightly bent right out of the box. I suppose it's not super surprising given how tiny it has to be, but still! Thankfully I think I have a multi-wrench around somewhere with a key that small, or I'd be screwed.

@Zombo I put my vertical wicks in through the top and use fine point tweezers to pull them through. Then I cut them and fluff the ends. Then pull the other way from the top til they are the right length and poke them back into the deck.

I do find the verticals have more airflow, especially the build where I am using quad verticals with the airflow crossing the deck at diagonals. Each coil is in the path of an airhole and its a very cool vape like that.

I'm glad I found this thread. This tank looks amazing. I was just about to give up on tanks all together after my woes with the TFv4 (coils tasting horrible after a few tanks and being done after one week, constant wicking issues on single RBA deck, etc). This is DEFINITELY on my next to buy list. Like, I may push of a bill til the next paycheck to get this hehe.

Does anyone have both the 6ml and 3ml versions? I like the size and idea that the vape could potentially be warmer on the 3ml, but I'd hate to get it and wish I had gotten the 6ml for its capacity.

I have not seen one mentioned in the last two or three pages on where to purchase this beautiful tank. But now that rip trippers has posted a video..... ROFL. Anyways I am very excited that more people are hearing about this wonderful tank. I can't wait to walk back into my local vape shop with my steam crave aromroizer RDTA.
I bought mine on ebay. They run about $48.00. Received it in 2 days.
