Can't say I'm impressed with the Aromamizer. The Billow V2 steps all over it. I just can't get the flavor out of the Aromamizer that I can with the Billow V2. There's my 2 cents. Now I'm broke

There are so many excellent dual coil RTAs out there these days. I feel like we're going back and forth about favorites among the top 10%, and Billow V2 is certainly in that top 10%, IMO. I rebuilt my neglected stock Goblin and stock Cthulhu V1 the other day, and with a proven build wicked right both have been giving me fantastic trouble free vapes. It's been an embarrassment of riches in the past 12 months.

That said, this ingrate hypocrite will certainly jump at the next atty that catches my eye.

I had the billow V2 and loved it until I got my hands on the aromamizer.

If you are true fan of the billow V2 then you and I both know of all the tinkering you had to do to get just the right amount of wick so that you wouldn't flood or dry up your wicks. remember when we had to recoil the billow V2 and how we both wished for a slightly larger deck to work on as well coil space? I find it very hard to believe a fellow Billow user gives up so easy! Billow had thought me a lot of patience.

I have tired 2 different vertical builds ( and 5 horizontal builds ) on my SC RDTA, and feel because of the distance from the coil to the air holes you will never get as good flavor as other builds. Also... with both vertical builds I've tried I've been forced to use the two hole band in order to bring the flavor out.

I have been a great fan of the Bv2 myself. It was the best tank I had before the arrival of the rdta.

But after using rdta, the Bv2 can't compete in the flavor department. Don't get me wrong...the Bv2 is a very flavorful tank...just that the RDTA is that good.

Both my Bv2 and rdta are running on standard horizontal coils. The coils are half above the air flow. If the air flow isn't aligned, just twist the tank slightly to align the airflow and use the 2 hole vape band. Also, the less density on the wick, the more flavor it gives. Try the scottish roll method for wicking.

Maybe it's a wicking issue. I'm not getting burnt hits. Just muted flavor.

I to feel the Aromaizer has muted flavor compared to Billow V2, and yes I have gone thru a learning process wicking the V2. But all said I'm looking for flavor and the V2 properly wicked is a better experience for me.

I worked on one of my Aromamizers yesterday, I used the V deck with vertical 24ga, 7wrap, 3mm ID, 50watts, 0.29 ohm, with Scotish Roll wicked KGD and it produces plenty of clouds, have to watch my fire alarm, I use ADV DIY juice I've been using for 6 months to test with. 2 hole band, lined on coils, maggie at SteamCrave made me delrin tips without anti spitback muffler.

Summary Billow still has better flavor with simple 28ga, spaced 2.5mm ID, 0.65 ohm, 30 watts, KGD.

Is anyone using this for TC builds? I got it to work nicely, but it's still way behind my lemo Drop (and Crown even) when it comes to flavor and density of vape. Maybe it's just an airflow issue...even on it's lowest setting, it's way open for my style of vape...It's awkward trying to achieve a comfortable mouth-to-lung.

I only vape with TC and have used many tanks such as the Delta 2, Kanger Mini, Lemo 2, Zephryus, Goliath v2, the Mutation x v4, and for the last couple of weeks the 6ml Aromamizer. It vapes like a dripper with an unlimited free flowing tank of ejuice! Since I received it I just can't put it down. Flavor and dense vapor production is stellar! I only have the Velocity style deck so that is all that I have used and can't speak for the original 3 post deck. 90% of the time I use the 2 hole vape band.

My only build so far has been with 24ga Ti tightly twisted with 32ga Kanthal A1, I think it was 9 spaced wraps for each horizontal coil. The coils line up perfectly with 2 of the tank air holes. I am waiting on some NiFe52 to ship and will be building my next coils with that in TC. This RDTA is mostly used on my SXM, but I also use it on my eVic VTC mini, and even for a few days on my Eleaf TC40W also in TC mode. For the last couple of days I am running the Aromamizer on my eVic VTC mini at 500F at 40W. The build is running around .13 ohms.

The wicking is always one of the most important factors I have found and this is one of the easiest tanks to wick. So far I have only used 100% organic Pima cotton and also Cotton Bacon v2 and both of which are just fantastic wicking materials but work a little differently. Using these wicking materials I have never even came close to having an anemic vape no matter how hard I hit this RDTA. This tank is just fantastic and I am thankful for all the folks on this thread that put this through all the tests and they convinced me to get off the fence.
