I removed the o-ring where the bottom of the tank seals to the base and replaced it with a 20 x 1 mm o-ring. I can adjust either 2 or 4 holes and have it still tight on the o-ring. It will have a tiny gap but isn't very noticeable. I posted it a few days back.
I need to see if I have a 20x1 oring. I might. Thanks for the tip, Ive been using mine just unscrewing the tank section about 1/4 turn back (loose) to line up the closest air holes with the coils. I think it makes a difference, but it could be placebo ;)

I do feel like the vape is more intense, my 6mg juice is very strong in the aromamizer compared to my gt2. 4 air holes is waaay too much air for me, fun for blowing clouds on a high vg (low nic) juice...but not the way I vape. I'm realizing now I thought I wanted crazy air flow, I now feel I only wanted a little bit more than the gt2 has been giving me...just a little more not 4x the air :p

BTW: fasttech has a 10% off coupon xmas thru november guys (5% off in dec). I need to place an order myself, I've really gone crazy with vape gear this last month or so.... bought way too much, but I has to order a GSL or GS2 (probably the GSL)

Last thing, I saw the Bellus on FT, for $12-$14... same concept as the aromamizer, metal afc, top fill so you dont disturb the build section to refill, and the 2 airholes line up everytime because of the way it mounts. I know nothing about the bellus, it may suck? but it doesnt look too bad? I have to admit, the aromamizer is a decent tank imo.... I'm happy with the purchase, but I think it would leak if you took it with you out and about because if its not up right it seems to want to leak? I usually dont have "at home" tanks, I usually travel with my vape so if it leaks on me...mine will end up in the classifieds.

Good to know the DNA200 fires Ni200 that low (.05). I love TC in my daily driver STMs and want to try Ni200 in this atty. I was worried about being able to build dual Ni200 coils with resistance high enough.

I like dw's solution with the o-ring. There are others who are carefully sanding down a little of the top section where it screws on to the base to get proper air hole alignment. From what they are saying it does not take much so be careful. It seems SC is listening and have corrected the alignment issue, those with higher SNs are lining up directly in front of the coils including mine.
I got 3, 2 of them do not line up, 1 of them does. I got one each for my sons (28/23) ... one of them got the one that lines up correctly.

Put this dual vertical single core clapton 26g/36g, 3mmID on my Aroma....DAYUM. All 4 airholes wide open at 45 degree angles to the coils. A total PITA build but much better than the horizontal ti coils. Vaping a different liquid so maybe that plays in too.

Ft seems to have a problem getting the Hotcig GS2-22's in stock, keeps giving ETA, then restocking, then ETA.then restocking, repeat.

The stock orings is thick enough to be unscrewed. I've been aligning the air flow to the coils in this method since the start and have not issues with any form of leaks. The tank also remains very firm.

Not sure how you figure that, can't even turn the air control with out it moving.

It wont leak if you use the proper amount of cotton. I lay mine on it's side for extended periods of time. No leaks..ever.

I have yet to have leaks. I use Horizontal builds with zero leaks. I've seen some Vertical builds with no leaks too. Amount of cotton and placement plays a HUGE role in this tank though.

In terms of what looks easier to wick? Vertical looks easier as it goes straight to the deck with no fancy footwork needed.

I personally prefer Horizontal. I make no claims to performance over the two choices. It's just the way I always build. I have the 6ml tank and I absolutely love it to pieces. The flavor is flipping amazing. I actually stopped using my RDAs and use this at my desk as a full time flavor beast. I still use my Mutation Xs with short wicks for flavor testing though.

I followed your lead and went to 28 gauge K1 but stayed vertical just because that's what I am experimenting with right now. Flavor is a bit improved but I still need to try it higher than 40 watts. I had a VT200 for about 20 puffs then it died. I returned it, the vendor must be very busy because it took a few days for them to determine it was indeed DOA. Then a few more to ship (I think). I emailed yesterday for a status and the Rep was out, won't hear until Monday. This is killing me, especially since I did not get a tracking number. :( Maybe it will be in todays vapemail. When it did work it was great at around 70 watts with my Velocity. Hopefully that will hold true with the Aromamizer which has all the indications to me to be a Velocity with a tank...

I am also fairly new to dual coils. I am finding my actual resistance always comes out lower than what Steam Engine tells me it should be i.e. SE target is 1 ohm but actual is .88. What am I doing wrong?

Probably doing nothing wrong especially since the ohms is lower instead of higher, things can't be to bad.
The diameter of various gauges (brands) of wire is not consistent.
