My latest technique is to fluff the tails so as they have less density. Place them on the deck and prime the wicks.

Once your wick is primed and settled, use a needle-like stick and lift up the wick slightly from the juice hole via the center of the deck as per pic. Just uncover quarter or half of the juice hole as too much may cause flooding or leaking.

Uncovering from the center helps prevent leaking as the juice are pooled in the center deck and will be absorbed by the wicks on the side should the tank be sideways (provided the juice hole are partially covered).

I do the same, push it back from the center.

I'll make sure to thank the person that posted those guides :). I'm new to it so I wanted to know the do's and don'ts of building and wicking it.
Yeah, I'll have to test that out later. I see no real reason why it wouldn't work for lining up the coils. Of course I'm not sure that the airflow will make THAT huge a difference either on verticals, but I'm always willing to try new stuff with my Aromamizer. :)

I've been building with the deck not screwed into the base. But, that's because if whatever bizzare new idea I've gotten into my head doesn't go well, I can continue vaping my old build while I go back to the drawing board. I'm not very good at unscrewing the old deck without mashing a coil :D

So. Public Service Announcement: When cleaning the tanks (I use an ultrasonic cleaner) it's a good idea if you have multiple tanks to clean them separately. I'm not 100% sure why, and this obviously may not apply to everyone, but in my case while the parts do indeed fit together, they don't fit quite 'right' if you mix them between tanks. Case in point: When the tanks are closed up tight, SteamCrave at the top and Aromamizer RDTA at the bottom line up. I mixed up the bases and now neither tank lines up quite right. I've also gotten leaks out of both tanks now. I'm in the process of cleaning them out and swapping the sections back and forth again. I think it's the top section and the base section that matter, looks like everything else is fully interchangeable.

Again, this might just be me...I got one tank several weeks ago, and the new tank last week, so maybe different batches or something. But they're definitely not QUITE lined up correctly between the two. Just an FYI on my experience.

This might seem like a dumb question, but after taking it apart and cleaning it ,how is the glass part supposed to feel after putting it on the bottom part? Mine seems to just kinda sits on the oring, is that what's supposed to happen? I just thought it'd be a but more snug.
Yes. I thought the same for my first cleaning after Vaping out of box. Luckily no machine oil. Didn't leak when I put everything back together so it must be how it's designed

Yep. Just sits on the o-ring. Tightening the tank down seals it in place. Has O-rings on top and bottom tank pieces.

Has anyone tried wicking this with the "F5 cotton?" it's less absorbent but has better flavor, I was wondering if it would work. I got my Aromamizer on Tuesday but I have to wait until I get a better eliquid. (I have MyMan by Onehitwonder and it taste horrible)
hi scott !
been using it for the last 3 weeks now . as far as flavor ... I used every thing from hemp fiber to other different cottons and stainless mesh ..never tasted any flavor differences ...just me so.
I love this stuff .. very easy to work with ..it stays clean much longer for some reason ..my flavors are from vz and they are pretty clear ..cant figure out why it gunks up other cottons more ..run 5 tanks on the same wick in one build !!
don't know about less absorbent ..wicks perfect for me ..enjoy your aromamizer

Yeah, they're so cheap I will likely get some as backups. One of my authentic V decks has the holes drilled through, and it hasn't been a problem. You could probably add screws to both sides of each post if you're having wire cutting issues. Considering you can get 5 of these for less than the cost of one authentic deck, why not?

Yeah. You could keep different builds around and swap in as desired.
