I bet!!It freaked me out.
I bet!!It freaked me out.
Mine pretty much stopped once I clipped the "head", top of the wick, as close as possible to the top of the (vertical) coil.No leakage on my verticals (coils)
I really like Ti but the Nife can be dealt with much quicker.Mine pretty much stopped once I clipped the "head", top of the wick, as close as possible to the top of the (vertical) coil.
Proof is that I can, for the most part, lay the atty on its side with nary a drop flowing out the AFC.

BTW dwcraig1, I ordered 208.3" of 27 awg Nifethal 52 when we last spoke here. "Acceptance" 12/30, "Pre-Shipment 12/31.
Mine was somewhat more effusive. My afc band gets moist, and I get one large drop out of the drip tip when I refill. I don't consider that "leaking" so much as condensation.
Not to say I've never gotten leaks, just that I don't get them currently.
If they were kitchen tools, Alton would proudly call them "multi-taskers" with approval. Both are in our First Aid kits we take when traveling/camping.
My son would get nasty nose bleeds when he was growing. Mom and I were out on Date Night one time and we got a frantic call from one of the daughters that he had a nasty one and they couldn't get it to stop. We finished up dessert and got home in just a few minutes. He was in the bathroom, still trying to get it to stop by packing tissue/TP in his nose. The bathroom looked like a crime scene on CSI.Blood on the counter, in the sinks, in the toilet, on the floor and even in the bathtub. Even we couldn't get it to stop and had to take him to the ER to have it cauterized. The other time he had one, and where we learned the tampon trick, was when he was in the hospital for a very, very nasty groin abcess. He got a nosebleed and was packing tissue in it when the nurse came in, saw what was happening and said "Hang on, I've got a fix for that." and left the room. She came back with the tampon, pinched down the end and shoved it up his nose to pack it. Worked a charm.
I have a picture of him, in hospital gown with a tampon shoved up his nose. I'm showing it at his wedding.![]()

I got my Aromamizer in the mail today. It's a bit shorter than the Crown, with roughly 2ml more capacity. That in itself made the purchase a no brainer. I'm into my 4th tank full, and no leaking. I don't lay my tanks over...box mods, and a homemade storage stand. Anyway, my first build is a 26g Kanthal, twisted, 6 wrap on 3mm, dual coil build to 0.19 ohm. I used that because the 26g twisted is a purchased spool and was literally the first spool I pulled from the box. It's wicked with cotton bacon. After about 10 pulls, I decided to circumsize the drip tip...3 seconds with a dremel, another 10 seconds with a burr knife and it was done. Literally the easiest alteration to a device I've ever done.
I'm loving this black beast on one of the Sigelei 150W boxes. Whenever I decide to quit being lazy, I'll wrap up some 24g Titanium with som 34ga Kanthal and make a couple of coils for TC mode on the X Cube II. So far, I'm really enjoying this. Best purchase of the year for me, next to the Sigelei 150TC...I did't buy the Cube, so it doesn't count. LOL
Luckily, an ecf pal sent me a sample a while back.I guess I need to scare up some rayon to try. I've used cotton for a long time.
Talked to maggie on skype, next update is summer 2016, they aiming for yearly updatesSource for info on a v2.0?
