I don't know if they do this where you are, but last time there was a missing person near me all the cell phones in the area got messages with a notice about it and pictures. I was with my ex, her mother, her brother and her friend all of us got the message. If this has not happened already you might want to ask the police about it. Again my best wishes with you and his family.
