No updates to offer yet. Police were able to find him on surveillance video at a gas station (last known whereabouts). He was alone in the video. Dunno if that is good or bad.

A personal update. Through stress there has been limited water intake, not enough food, minimal sleep and excessive vaping. All my juices have ran out of flavor. Can't taste anything with anything. Bad time for vaper's tongue.

Yeah...I guess its different with him being an adult, no history of mental illness, no sign of foul play and such. If he wants to up and leave with no indication he has that right. To us however, this is such a great departure from normal that we are taking it way more seriously. The kid has 4700 in the bank and all that has been used is gas on friday when he disappeared. Would be one thing if he cleared out account and high tailed it. So frustrating. Aside from the main worry of not knowing if he is safe, the mother is distraught over knowing if he is eating.

As for vaping...water intake is gonna be kicked up. Pretty bad when you can barely taste straight menthol. Lol

Conjecture: I rest easier knowing in some respects that he's by himself, and not held prisoner by someone else or otherwise abducted. It appears that he's taking some time to himself, or taking a trip for reasons he didn't share with you and your lady for whatever reason. This alleviates the more nasty alternatives, hopefully.

Supportive statement: If he's been a good enough responsible kid, as it sounds like, he may have a reason for what he is doing and simply hasn't shared it. Here is to hoping he's just spreading his wings a little bit, and not getting into anything seriously troubling. Disturbing and unusual behavior by the sounds of it, but hopefully it's nothing harmful to him or to his family. Here's to the hope it's just a bit of adolescent 'spreading of the wings' and nothing more dangerous than that.

We went through this with a 15-year-old grand daughter. It is so extremely difficult and my heart goes out to you. It seems to me he is staying with a friend or he would have drawn more money out for lodging and meals. Our grand daughter did that. She fell in with the wrong crowd basically. You all will stay in my prayers.
