The reason I like the black is precisely because it isn't glossy. If I hold it directly under a light, I can see fingerprints, but otherwise they're invisible.

I can't let this go. Anyone have the gray Colossus? If its finish is the same as the black's, it might be a worthy substitute.
That's what I thought, too, @MikeADore. And since the shiny ones definitely look shiny, it doesn't seem to be a trick of the light. I've now written to Vapor Range to ask, but it's killing me to think of losing the price while waiting for an answer. On the other hand, gray seems to be an unpopular color, so it might stay in stock longer than the others.
Ordered 2 Asmodus Zesthia RTAs 1 gold and 1 blue from Vapor Range- They sent me the Blue Zesthia- but ran out of the gold so they sent me a gold Voluna V2 instead.

That Minikin Goldie is a looker. Surprised they still support these earlier mods. It's been forever since I visited their website.
I used my asMODus gear much of the first year I had them along side a lot of other gear. The Snow Wolf Mini's started to fall away first, then the Minikins to where they have been mostly out of sight out of mind for a long time. Unfortunately that meant my favored Avocados also fell out of use (although I did use a couple of them for s time on Sigelei 213 TC's).
TC's were not really my thing... I guess once a squonker always a squonker. Now days I vape a few mech & a bunch of regulated squonkers, and only run mesh RDA's on them.
I posted a picture of the grey a few pages back. It is sitting between the black and the gun metal. It is not glossy.
The Colossal has become my favorite mod, surpassing even the JAC (which I still love, mind). It's just so comfortable to hold: nice weight, nice height (my arthritic thumb doesn't have to extend as far to reach the fire button), nice finish (especially on the black and, I hope, the gray I'll get soon). I have no trace of buyer's remorse. Nice feeling.

however I've tried out over 10 mods in between and none had the hand feel, reliability and function I was after. Agree completely that the colossal has it all

I like the Pico 25 a lot. Bought five of them and don't regret it. But I have a feeling that the Armour Pro and Sinuous P80 I ordered weeks ago are going to be tested when they finally get here and then stashed away. I'd stash away the SX Mini SL, too, except that I bought 21700 batteries especially for it, and I feel obliged to use them while they're fresh. As for the Kroma-A, I keep it in the rotation only because its internal battery probably wouldn't stand up to long-term storage. I may end up giving it to a friend of mine who wants to try vaping to get off cigarettes, though. It would be doing good work in a good home, so I wouldn't feel guilty about passing it on, despite its sentimental value as my first mod.My colossal only had to beat out a pico 75w
