The seller shipped the package out and was received and sent by USPS to me on Feb, 27 and it's been stuck at customs for a 2 days now. Says custom clearance when I use the code on the USPS site. I tried the code for Canada post and it said accepted but nothing else. It was sent from NY and I am in Vancouver, Canada, just wondering if anyone knows what's going on with the package and how long it would take to get over here? Is it cleared by custom yet or being cleared by custom it is not clear.

I've never had experience getting shipments to Canada from the US, but I live in the US and have ordered from fast tech (China) and cloud 9 vapes (UK), and this is pretty normal. Usually a package will take 1-3 days to clear customs in my experience. In fact, My kayfun V4 is actually in the same limbo period clearing customs right now from Cloud 9. I can track the package using the Royal Mail website, but it just says that it has been handed off by Royal Mail to Customs, and from there I will be able to track it through USPS once customs hands it off to the USPS. So, there is a limbo time period warp that you just have to wait and there are no tracking updates while couriers are switched and the package gets through customs. Good luck!

Buckle up. If it's gone in for inspection, which is usually what happens when it takes over a day to clear customs, then you probably won't see it for a month. The good news is you will get it in the end though. Hope I'm wrong though.
I don't believe that you have anything to worry about, other than the delay that a Customs inspections might cause. CBSA will routinely inspect random packages to confirm content and ensure that there is nothing illegal contained therein. All International packages go through Customs, only a very few are inspected more closely.

If there is no e-liquid in the package you'll most likely get it. could take up to a few weeks though.. I ordered a VaporShark DNA when they first came out before any were available in Canada and it sat in customs for over 3 weeks. If they find e-liquid when they're sent in for inspection they'll be denied entry and usually sent back to the shipper.
If you order anything from China, expect about a month wait. I ordered a laptop memory chip from China. Said it was shipped on Feb 5th and finally got it on Feb 28th.

One of my last U.S. orders, that contained nic juice, was held in Customs for nine weeks before they finally returned the package to the seller. Thankfully the seller refunded my money. That's the last time I tried to place a cross border order containing nic juice. I now purchase all of my e-liquids from Canadian suppliers/distributors.
Interesting, I didn't know that Canada won't let you guys import nic juice. That's too bad, also I didn't know that it took so long for packages to get through customs when ordered from China. I ordered from Fast Tech which ships from China and my shipment was shipped within 48 hours from FT and then took 4 days in transit. I do have to say that I paid for upgraded shipping. Fast Tech offers a myriad of shipping options which can be a little confusing and hard to understand and ultimately choose, but I went through them all and chose Speedpost Global Express, which was somewhere in between the fastest option and the slowest, and for $22 it seemed like a reasonable amount of postage for a small box shipped from China. Fours days in transit from China is pretty quick to me...heck I ordered something from across the country with USPS and it's taken over a week and still not here! I'm myself moving away from the USPS for any of my shipping needs, their reasonable rates for 2-3 day "Priority Mail" seemed too good to be true, and they are. My USPS packages sent Priority routinely take over a week and I live in the NYC metro area. UPS or Fedex Ground would be quicker and I feel more secure. I would rather pay a few more bucks and just be sure my package is going to get delivered on a certain day.
Actually, Canada Customs (CBSA) is pretty good about processing items quickly, unless your package contains something of "interest." It's packages with nicotine containing e-liquids that often catches their attention and like everything, CBSA doesn't/can't catch every package; many slip through. I was having pretty good luck with other shipments, but having said that, I no longer take the chance. Although the shipper will refund the cost of the items that didn't make it to destination, the cost of postage is lost (as much as $15-$35, depending on shipping method). For this reason there are a number of U.S. e-liquid producers that will not ship to Canada; among them is Nicoticket. Its frustrating because, to the best of my knowledge" there is no law or regulation that prohibits the importation of nicotine containing e-liquid; its simply a Health Canada directive (if someone has definitive info, please jump in).
I currently have two Fastech orders enroute. On of them arrived in Canada, went through CBSA and was subsequently placed into the Canada Post shipping system all in one day! No delay. So, that one was really fast.
