FYI --- Aspire official statement on Atlantis coils material



A. Stainless Steel screen: keeps wicking in it’s casing, and helps prevent excess e-liquid from going into air chamber.
B. Kanthal heating coil from USA
C. Organic cotton: superior wicking to the coil
D. Aspire Ceramic paper: specially designed as a capillary medium to feed the cotton wick more efficiently.
E. Organic cotton: superior wicking to the Ceramic paper which holds the e-liquid for wicking to the cotton/coil area


SO, no official statement that they will change to cotton, only they are looking into it!

Thanks for sharing. I keep hearing different things whether they are going to change or not. Tank is absolutely brilliant anyways.

Been hearing they're looking into changing the design of their heads also so I'm curious, what's the best way to find new info when/if they do change them to organic cotton heads?

Two things worry me about this...

1. Aspire has made no official announcement (on their website or forum) regarding a change to cotton.

2. The Price at KP is freaking insane! $21?????
