I have had mine for three days now, and I'm very happy with it...zero problems with gurgling and leaks, etc. It gives me a nice size cloud and good flavor...and that's on my joyetech eGo Twist (it looks great with my stainless battery and beauty ring, btw). I can't wait till I get my Provari next month so I can fully experience the performance of this tank.

Anyway, I only have one (minor) gripe: I tend to like a more airy draw, but the first hole is too airy and the second is too tight, for me. Did they lose a drill bit or something? I end up putting it on the first hole, but I cover it about half-way with the ring.

I don't think this tank is getting the credit it deserves for the hybrid wick/polyfil design since I don't really hear that being mentioned. All I hear about is the big tank and airflow control. IMO, this is a really well done design in more ways than most are considering. I really expected juice feeding to be an issue also, but surprisingly, that's one of the strongest features of this tank.

I'm glad that you said that; in my opinion, Aspire's really done very good things with the original Aspire BDC and now the Nautilus.

And with the Nautilus, it really seems that they've been listening to what a lot of the vape consumers wanted and delivered a pretty decent product.

Help Ahead of Time (Tip to keep your Coils Working) Asphire NAUTILUS and other Clearomizers
Where's that GURGLE coming from and why? Where's that LEAK in the BOTTOM of many Clearos coming from?

Here's one answer that few discuss or point out... If you want your coils to last week after week...
without leaking gunk building upon them....

Take the time to get yourself a package of... PIPE CLEANERS...

The purpose and use for these pipe cleaners is to run one thru the AIR SHAFT of your Clearomizers
that your using... Especially at the end of the day.

The reason being is the clearos air shafts are full of condensation from e-liquids being vaporized thru them by the hot coils...
This condensation is ALWAYS in the air shaft (chimney) BUILDING up each and every time you press
THE FIRING button to vape the e-liquids.

Once the clearomizer(s) begins to cool down that condensation on the walls of the air shaft has to go somewhere.
And, most likely it will turn downward towards and thickly gunking up your coils and or
head to the closest open area to begin leaking as it pleases.

Gurgling... MANY a time it is that condensation dripppping and dropppping along the walls of the old air shaft... when and if
you run a simple pipe cleaner thru that shaft... the (mystery) gurgle caused by condensation in the air shaft... will be gone!!!

Agree 100%. When gurgle starts this is usually the culprit

For those interested in the Nautilus but leery because of the price of the replacement heads, just google riptripper youtube. The man has done it again, just rebuild your heads. While not a stock rebuild (it has one single microcoil instead of dual coils), he claims the flavor is even better than with stock head. I will be doing this very soon, looks easy enough if you're already into rba's.

I absolutely LOVE this tank. So much better than the Protank 2...

I have had my Nautilus for a week. And my complaint is that with such low ohm coils, my lighter, fruity, 50/50 juices I tend to get too much heat and get the dreaded burn flavor with chain vaping or prolonged burns. To the point where I feel totally limited to putting only heavy darker juices in it that can handle that much power. Anyone else feeling this way? I also have noticed the same issues on my 1.8ohm kanger evod coils. I am going to the 2.4's on those but don't have that option unless I start making my own for the nautilus.

Did you try turning it to a higher air flow hole? That might help.

Usually "burnt taste" is a wicking issue. Not just the power. It may be best to rotate devices so your "topper" has time to re-wick. I've certainly needed to do that with most cartomizers. The Aspire line has been the exception.

I am surprised you are having this with the Nautilis, so there might be another fix that someone more experienced with it can help you with.

Sounds like you are running too much power. Turn it down and you should get a great vape. The only time I get a burning taste from any tank system is when I run too much power/voltage. Dial it back to enjoy the flavor, even your darker liquids will taste better for adjusting to the proper power/voltage. For me it's not about the color of the juice, but more the PG/VG ratio. 50/50 is a very normal juice ratio, so you shouldn't have trouble with any flavor unless you're running too much power. Of course if you run too high a power level for long the head is toasted and there is no bringing it back. If you cooked the head you will need to replace the head or rebuild the head. Once you replace the head, start at a low power level and slowly raise until you get the vape you enjoy or a slightly burnt taste. If you get a burnt taste dial it back until the flavor is good.

Would like to add I have been vaping 100% VG all night at work in the Nautilus and it has been nothing short of amazing. Not a single dry hit. Have my airhole set one under the largest and am blowing clouds. Vaping at 9w.

In love with this BDC. Super pumped for some Boba vapemail tomorrow, thankfully its pre steeped.

got my natuilus last night...what a bummer so far, got it, cleaned it, filled it, let it sit for about 20 minutes and wow...the clouds!, left it on the mod and took another mod with me out of the house...came back about 2-3 hours later and gurgle gurgle, and liquid coming from air hole

vaped it until the gurgle was gone, set it down and went to bed, woke up this morning with liquid running all down my mod

i was hoping this was going be my going out tank but not if it leaks and is as inconsitent as it was last night
