Op: we did not manufacture the ceramics. As i wrote before we try in the past produce our own ceramics in better quality but the cost was too high. About the longer cut-outs, try not to cut a lot because your coil will be too close to the ceramic hole and maybe you will have airflow issues.

Q: sorry for the delay for these videos. We try to collect all your comments and put them all.

Do you like my new provari? :)

Konstantinos, I just want to tell you that my Hippo v2 is on my Provari most of the time. Beautiful solution to the airflow issue with the Provari's. I take every opportunity to recommend it.

I have just recently started looking into e-pipes. The most well known and respected American pipe maker uses an ego connector. Many of the smaller attys or tanks that have 510 air holes can have the same issue with airflow. Not because of beauty rings, but because the airholes seem to be buried in the 510 portion of the connector. I dream of a Hippo-like solution to this problem. Do you know of one, or have you considered such a device? I could imagine it using the same "inside" as the Hippo v2, and having an alternate outer ring that would act as both airflow control and beauty ring.

Konstantinos did you guys ever test out in pre-production longer cut-outs in the ceramic cup so that the wick and coil were in line with the cut-out of the atty slot. So it would be similar to a wick situation as the Taifun GT type setup? I love my Taifun and have never had any problems with the wicking and or flooding since I moved to micro coils and cotton.

Would you guys ever release a ceramic cup with longer cut-outs for or special design to features to enhance a micro coil and cotton wick setup? Until the day a possible something comes along. Would it hurt if I dremeled the ceramic slots further down the ceramic cup? Can you see any down side to this?

Thanks again for the videos.

Opdee :)

Do you want longer ceramic slots so you can fit more cotton?

I install my coils so the coil sticks out of the top. the bottom half of the coil is in the cup, the top half of the coil is above the cup's lips. This way, I can put more cotton through the 5/64ths coil without modding the cup and without choking the cotton in the cup slots.

Works perfectly. I would put the whole coil above the cup, but putting it halfway inside the cup gives the coil some structural support. When I rewick, this keeps the coil firmly in place, so it doesn't move and get twisted or damaged.

Q: "Ps.: Why not the 'gold' Hippo v2 too?" who told you that :2cool:
Thanks a lot friend, none of our pics are like yours :thumb:

Nelson: we miss your puppy

Akdare: very difficult because the dimensions are not the same in all pipes.
Tasos has a pipe and put a Grail inside

The pipes I am speaking of are "shankless", i.e., there is no wood around the connector, just the ego connector...

Which o-rings? From where? For the Diver v1?

If you need the 6x1 o-rings for the Diver v1, PM me your address, and I can send you a few.
It's the v1. I got the orings from you actually lol. I just can't get them to fit properly. When screw down the tube it pushes the oring out.

Ha! OK, sorry, sent out a LOT of envelopes...

The o-rings are 6mm x 1mm, and I use these in my v1 myself. I should have sent a few, I assume they all do the same thing. Can you try lubing them with some e-juice?

I can send you some original o-rings from my v1 Divers, the ones that came with my v1 Divers, if you'd like.

Dudes went crazy! zbeast, I haven't had much time to play lately, but the combination of those two videos - the dual coil and the wicks out - might be wicked.

I just built a dual coil in my Dripper Spiral. In this RDA, you leave long wicks that then get stuffed in the reservoir. The combo of these two should give you the same effect - dual coils with excess wick to feed them. The clouds and flavor I get from that setup are insane. I can only imagine the combo in the v2 Diver might just make the bloody thing blow up.

Added to my list!

I made a first attempt at dual coil with wicks out.

Dual coils each @ 2.0 ohms for net 1.0 ohms, sitting above the cup side-by-side (I don't have the dual coil cups yet). 5/64" microcoils with cotton ball trimmed down to the coil. Two pieces of 1mm Ekowool sitting on top of the coils, and leading out into the tank.

Well, too much wicking, it's flooding. I will open her up later this weekend and remove one of the Ekowool pieces.

The vape is insane, the flavor is out of this world. It is a bit of a pain to build though, but with the cotton wick allowing for easy re-wicking, such a coil should last a long time - and it will be totally worth it.
