Well, I sort of give up using Diver in the tank since I couldn't stop the leak.

But... Grail to the rescue! And now I have a small dripping setup which turn out to be great and looking good.

Here it is with Sturm mod v2:

I've had 2 instances of major flooding out of the connector and that was when I took the drip tip off  and when the juice level gets to about just above the juice hold. I don't understand why it would flood in these 2 cases but I'm guess it has something to do with the pressure inside the tank. I wouldn't think taking the drip tip off to check the coil would affect leaking but it leaked like a dam had broken. Same with when the juice level got too low.

Grail on VV Reos Grand. Remove the o-ring in the well for air flow. Nice, tight draw, great vape. Because the juice comes up through the post, the first draw is a gurgle, but the second is perfect.

Edit: One comment: without the o-ring in the well, over-squonking will flood the juice onto the mod. I believe the 306 Grail has air holes in the side, so that Grail should work perfectly, since you can use it with the O-ring in the well. I find a single squonk should give about 12-15 good, long drags, so still fantastic as is.

So, following Konstantinos' s directions,
Yesterday morning, after coffee, I've re-coiled one of my divers
Just to test the latest tip, double nr leg inside ceramic cup from the bottom as per positive channel. So, inserted the brass center pin into the base and pushed the ceramic cup down gently but firmly. Of course with double leg of nr the center pin seats much tight in it. Well, no more gurgling and these morning no drop of juice out at all. Just my experience.
Thank you Konstantinos

Hey Francesco, glad to hear its solved the problem for you. Can you tell me how you set up the double nr leg into the ceramic? Any pictures would really help. Thanks!

Hi Kingdal,
atmo I'm on vacations and using Boge cartos and tank, but as soon as I'll be back at home (end of August) if needed I'll post some pictures. But I'm confident that you'll solve the issue.
So it is very simple, you have to cut the nr leg, before inserting it into the bottom of the ceramic cup, longer than before (double lenght). Just push not all the way down inside the ceramic cup, but push a little in the middle with a small screwdriver and let the center pin do the rest when you'll tight the all set (center pin-base-ceramic cup). Should you need further informations don't hesitate to ask for them.
Regards Francesco

Rebuilt one of my divers yesterday using NR-R-NR silver wire with 30ga @ 1.4ohm , using 2 strands 2mm ekowool. I made especially sure to use a cup + center pin combo that would mate snugly and keep a seal (they don't all provide a perfect seal when mated, due to tolerances in production). Well a day later and not even so much as a slight gurgle on the first pull, zero leaking. So I guess this confirms that leaking issues may be attributed to how well of a seal the ceramic cup makes when it mates with the center pin? seems so..

Vaperev..

Scuba Tank ----> Scuba by Atmistique

Diver ----> Atmistique Diver

Happy shopping and enjoy!

ahh, thx. i knew vaperev had the divers' but didnt realize they carried the tank aswell. does anyone know of the site JC West talks about in his diver review? i think he calls it sooner vaping? says his scuba tank and diver came from there and, if i rememer correctly it was a better price than vaperev.

Leaking STOPPED
All I did was click some pictures yesterday :)

Diver Update: Kept empty tanked since the last few days in sheer displeasure. Y'day topped it up for pictures, vaped a li'l (b'coz the bloody thing doles out good VTF), took pictures and left it atop the Lux. It remained likewise overnight. T'day morning removed the tank - lo and behold! - not a drop anywhere!

Miracle? I guess so! Or, did it need acclimatization, time to settle down? I'll be watchin' you baby...

Last built:
NR-R-NR, 30g Kanthal, 30g Nickel, 2 x 2mm Silica, Strands cut & built exactly as per Atmistique's vid. 1.2Ω.
Top-up technique:
Plugged Cartodriver, removed SnP's bottom cap, pushed the Diver down till it's air-hole was out of the tank. Loosened SnP's top cap to align its fill-holes. Syringed thru one of the fill-holes. Stopped when the juice was just touching the brim of the top-cap (yes, didn't fill it full). Pushed the Diver back inside. Now tightened the top-cap -- and then removed the Cartodriver. Kept it to to settle down for a minute - then vaped. No gurgle, no flooding, no dry-hits. Nice, clean vape!

I'm back with Leaking Again :(

Kept my Diver+SnP idle for 2-days... removed it and find the 510 post of the mod flooded. Cleaned up and used it for for some time, but every now-n-then when I check it -- I find the Diver's +ve pin wet and so is the 510 post of the mod. It's not an 'open faucet' - but wet with a drop nonetheless. The Diver is thus, NOT MY THING, I guess!

They have a Facebook page (with a reference from JC about his review). Try Googling it as you wrote it above to find it.
