I got a Diver in a trade and there were no instructions but I've followed the greek youtube vid on how to fill. I first had the Diver in a Phiniac tank and got dry hits. I now have it in a top fill prive clone. I filled from the top like the greek youtube guy did and it floods. I tried filling through the top fill hole and it floods. I filled it half way like instructed. I'm using 100% VG diluted with 5% distilled water. What could I be doing wrong?

Same problem but something that helped me was the hole needs to be below the tank during your fill, cap it, then slide the diver into the tank. The problem is... Every time I go to re-fill it from the prive hole, the leaks begin again so I can only do one full tank at a time (if that makes sense). It still leaks off and on, and have been looking for an answer because I really like the Diver. (Note: I use the AMP extension to make the diver longer too since my prive tank is xl)

I'm pretty sure that the juice hole is below the bottom cap but just to be sure I started over. Same problem. I can clear the flooding with a few primer puffs but then get a slight gurgle after each drag after that. If I let the Diver sit for a few minutes it's flooded again. I don't get it.
When it's not flooded it's great!I tried an experiment. I tilted the diver so there was no juice covering the juice hole and vaped until I started to get dry hits then I stood the diver upright and watched the juice hole. 4 bubbles came out in less than 2 minutes. I took a few drags and it gurgled. I wonder if the problem could be not enough wick. It shouldn't self feed like that if the wick is plenty wet. Everytime I set it down I see bubbles coming out of the wick hole.
Pls use your phiniac tank. Do you have dry hits while the hole is inside the juice? if so dont u see bubbles come out from the hole?
I am sure that u already check that the resistance is not so tight, also the Divers hole make a triangle with ceramics slots and the wicks aren't so long.

mine is working great in the phiniac, and i'm still using the pre made wick assembly that came with the kit. it's working wonderfully. i am using it on either one of my mechs-the e pipe at the moment-and it's working beautifully. i do see bubbles when i inhale, and no dry hits. loving it! i do want to make some higher resistance coils for using it on variable voltage devices, such as my billet box, but i'm just enjoying it so much right now, that i don't want to mess around with it. honestly, i'm scared to death of rebuilding coils... seems so confusing. but eventually, i will have to do it, right?

As with anything else, the first time you attempt to do anything is the hardest. Truth be told, building a good working coil assembly is easier than most people think. Give it a try. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

You should experiment with the spare ceramic while you vape away on your existing setup. When you're ready to try out what you've built you can set your working wick and coil in the ceramic aside for a bit and always come back to it if you need to. Joining the nr-r-nr wires can be a pain but like all things, you get better at it with experience.
I now have the Diver in a Phiniac tank with a new wick setup. I'm getting bubbles this time, maybe because I filled it wrong before. But it is still self feeding. I took a couple drags and watched 5 bubbles come out with another right behind it. I took a drag and it gurgled on the first drag but not on the next 4. I'm going to let it sit for awhile and see if it continues to self feed to the point where it won't stop gurgling like it was doing with the Prive clone tank.
I have the juice hole positioned so that it is always in juice when I take a drag and yes I have it lined up in the triangle like was described in the videos.

If you have the opportunity, check to make sure that the ceramic cup is secured down firmly into the base unit. The Liquid should only feed to a certain level inside the tube, as a bird feeder would, until the inner liquid level needs replenishing.

It was snug but I couldn't really tell if it went very far into the base. It would make sense that it is feeding through there but I couldn't get the cup in any further. I push so hard that the connector pin was pushed in so far it wouldn't make a connection. I had to pull it back out a little.
Is the neg wire suppose to be between the cup and the base? It could be feeding around that wire.
Yes, the neg wire is trapped between the ceramic cup and the base unit. What gage wire are you using? I have had no issues using a 32g Nickel NR wire.

I'm using 30 ga without the NR. I have no problem using NR but I've read about several people that were using the Diver with just R wire so I thought I would try that first. It vapes beautifully when it's not flooded.
Well this is really strange. The Diver has been spitting out bubbles for the past hour so I took a drag expecting to get a mouthful of juice but it only gurgled a little and then stopped gurgling. I'm not getting any dry hits either. I'll need to test it a bit longer but it's working great right now. I like it better than the Killer.
Perhaps, someone else might jump in here, as well. The 30g may be just a tiny bit too big to seat the ceramic cup property, but if it's working . . . LEAVE it alone.

Great . . . Yes, if my Diver sits idle for awhile, it will have a slight gurgle on the first draw. Afterwards, it vapes like a machine.

I usually use 32ga but I wanted a higher resistance with fewer wraps. I'll try 32ga next time.
Before 2 days someone complain about dry hits. He came in our shop and Tasos try to find out what is wrong with no luck.

Hi everyone, As to my previous response to the thread. I was getting plastic taste. So, I ran the set up dis-assembled along with the extra white cup housing and the 2 Billet Box tanks cleaned through my Ultrasonic Cleaner. I re-wrapped the extra white cup housing that came with the Diver purchase. I used 32 kanthal w/5 wraps. It's actually performing a little better than the one that came pre-assembled. One thing I noticed though the one that came pre assembled had quite a play. I was able to move the white cup housing while it was seated in the 510 bottom connector via brass pin which would occasionally kinda slip. With the extra white cup housing works nicely its DEAD ON LOCK compared to the pre-assembled. Every so often i get a slight plastic taste and a fewdry hits. I ran 2 and 3mm Silica's which made no difference in performance and taste of the juice. Konstantinos, I took your advise to run on low settings on the Billet Box which worked in some way. Forgot to mention the set was read through my Ohm meter @ 1.9 I see other people getting good results, just wish what they did to get it vape nicely. Also what is the difference between the NR wire ? Any difference in performance ? Thanks in advance

Hi Konstantinos, hope you well. I'm a proudly owner of 5 Divers sitting on various tanks: Kir Fanis, Kazulinho, Siam Mods and them are simply fantastic. Good vape, flavour and very important thing simple to build. It needs time to understand them and do what you need to run them at the best. Just let you know my experience. Thank you Konstantinos.
