I've been toying with the fill levels of my Scuba Diver the last few days. I've used 3 different Divers, built using various setups - default, long wick in the chimney, extra NR wire in the base.
Regardless of build, Diver, ceramic, I found that filling to only about 70% got me zero, zero, zero leaking, from the fill all the way through empty. No condensation, no overnight dribble of liquid on the 510 connector, bone dry for days through repeated Diver swaps and refills.
There are two sections of the plastic exposed with a normal Scuba setup. I use a single steel ring above the center brass ring, but I have left the lower half exposed.
When I say 70%, I mean the following: holding upside down, the liquid level comes to a bit more than halfway up the clear portion that is exposed on my setup.
