I personally am more of a Satin Black guy myself, but I do have to say: Sexy!

How does the finish of the hippo compare to the finish of the Provari top cap?

The Hippo v2, much like most all of Atmistique's products have a machined finished. Like very fine grooves that shine and sparkle a bit in light.

Unlikely a match, but should still look great!

Actually, the pictures of the new polished Provari show it as polished-"ish". It isn't quite as polished as my v2.0 Chrome. Might be a very close match with the new Hippo.

Custom ProVari Mini v2.5, using The Diver atty.

Received the Hippo v2 yesterday, thanks! I'm really liking the DIVER it's awesome. It works extremely well, great flavor, easy setup with the pre-made coils/ceramics. The vape is so smooth. I don't know how to explain it, but Atmistique must use some Ancient Greek Hokery-Pokery, because the DIVER seems to give your juice a full bodied richer flavor. The DIVER comes either flanged or un-flanged upon request. In my opinion the diver has more stability construction wise, vs.
it's competitor.
If you don't own one....get two (flanged/un-flanged)!

I will channel George Takei: Oh my!

I've been trying to figure out a mutation of the Spheroid with ceramic in my head and on paper. I'd love to see perseas and Konstantinos make one together. This would probably blow every other device out of the water, except maybe the Ithaka.

(and I'll probably get in trouble for writing that)

This already exists. I won't mention it here out of respect since it is another manufacturer but PM me if you want to know about it ;)

Posted this in the other Atmistique thread, copying here to make sure Diver users see it:

I've been toying with the fill levels of my Scuba Diver the last few days. I've used 3 different Divers, built using various setups - default, long wick in the chimney, extra NR wire in the base.

Regardless of build, Diver, ceramic, I found that filling to only about 70% got me zero, zero, zero leaking, from the fill all the way through empty. No condensation, no overnight dribble of liquid on the 510 connector, bone dry for days through repeated Diver swaps and refills.

There are two sections of the plastic exposed with a normal Scuba setup. I use a single steel ring above the center brass ring, but I have left the lower half exposed.

When I say 70%, I mean the following: holding upside down, the liquid level comes to a bit more than halfway up the clear portion that is exposed on my setup.

@Violy: Some pieces were left before a few hours and i thought it is still available.
Anyway it will be available again the first days of October

Hi Konstantinos,
I'm sure this question has been answered somewhere in these many pages;
but, can you please explain the benefits of using Non-Resistance wire (NR-R-NR)
with the diver. I purchased and rebuilt my Diver coil with these 1.5 ohms, 1x 3mm wick,
loaded up the diver. It vapes very well @1.5 ohms / 3.5 volts. Would like to know from you
the pros and cons please.
Thank you

"Pre-Made Coils With Non-Resistance Leads" 1.5 ohms ( 0.8ohm - 3.0ohm are available )

That pretty much 'killed' our probable responses ;)

High end, low end? What mm size?

I only use high end tanks so here are a few suggestions since you already have a Scuba..

High End Tanks:

Vaperfexion. They have 19mm and 22mm tanks

GP SnP: Comes in 22mm and 23mm sizes

Titanide Tank: They have 16mm and 20mm sizes

Mid Level Tanks

Phiniac: Comes in 17mm, 22mm and 25mm sizes

IBTanked: They have 19mm, 22mm, and 25mm sizes

Low End Tanks

Why bother with these?

Hey Raqball. I sure wouldn't put Phiniac in with IBTanked. The pyrex is thicker and annealed making it very strong. That's why they don't break as easily as an IBTanked tank. Yes, they cost more but you get what you pay for. :)

I have 9 Phiniac tanks and for good reason. They don't break or leak. I also have a Diver in one and Phiniac carries the Diver.

I wish Phiniac, since they only sell the flanged Diver would:

A) Make a tank with a bottom cap recess for use with the flanged Diver

OR

B) Stock and sell the non flanged Diver for use with their tanks..

Phiniac makes a nice tank, that's for sure!

I thought about that..

Maybe Phiniac should be listed as a High Mid Level and IBTanked should be Low Mid Level..

Yes I agree the Phiniac is a much nicer tank than the IBTanked..

I have requested "A" and they are thinking about it but they haven't been selling enough Divers to justify the expense yet. I don't think many people know they carry the Diver yet.

"B" they have tried to get the non-flanged Diver but they are hard to come by.
