garpt01: just an add to Kat suggestions

The tank O-rings maybe they need to be replaced. The cartos because of the material they have inside, can absorve a possible air leakage (which could create liquid leakage) because of faulty O-rings. Diver can’t.

Filling the tank: the most secure way to fill your tank from the ball is while filling the tank close at the same time the upper and lower Divers holes so the air can escape only from the little space ball creates while you are pushing it inside. Pls make a try and fill the tank with the traditional way by pressing the Diver down inside the tank and fill it inside the space between Diver and tanks edge and tell us the results.

You can always of course send us your Diver to check it. Just send me a pm to arrange it but pls first check the traditional way of refilling.

Waiting your news

Hi Konstantinos,
The Billet Box and the Diver both arrived about a week ago, brand new.
I purchased the Billet Box only because I enjoy rebuilding and the Diver appears the only product that gives me that option. If the Diver was not available, I would not have purchased the BB. I'm not a big "carto" guy. So this was important to me.
Haven't really had the need to refill with the Diver installed, my installs don't last long. I try not to keep the tank more then half full until I get around the leaking issue.

Do you have other ceramic cups? I would try swapping that out as well. Those can be off spec at times. CE2 cups are mass produced, so a small percentage will be off spec, and can create these problems.

I can send you a few to swap out and see if that addresses this - I have the original singles and the dual coils as well.

Tried both ceramic cups. I actually have the large slot cups coming today or tomorrow. There is a difference in the tolerance of the cups as you mentioned. I found one more forgiving with the center pin.

Will do. I'm hoping the build is not absolutely perfect, I think it almost has to be with the Diver. So I'm hoping the large slot cups will give me more cotton wicking material to stop the gurgling. Cotton has always been my favorite wicking material, but silica is an easier build on this device, IMO. The expanded slots should help with cotton, I believe.

Just got the Eviva in the mail and about to set it up. I am replacing the cup that came installed with the wide-slot cup. Now, the cup that came installed in the base had 3 small o-rings around the cup post, do those need to be removed and put on the new cup before installing?

Yes, place them on the new cup.

Ciao! @Todai ... 3 or 2 rings?

Salve, RallyRace! The cup that came installed had 3 rings, so I moved all 3 to the new cup. The SS cups I see have only 2 rings.

Here she is with the clear tank. 28ga, 6 wraps around a 1.6mm bit, running at 1.05Ω, with KGD cotton wick and big slot ceramic cup.

Well, it was a tough ride but I stuck it out.
Got my Diver2, with BilletBox, working flawlessly, no leaks. I waited 2 days and nights before reporting this time in case of overnight leaks or gurgles. To possibly help others, here are my findings with this combination- THIS is what worked for ME, after many builds:

1. USE the wide slot ceramic cups. Period.
2. USE cotton. Cotton works and creates very good vapor without leaks.
3. DO make sure cotton covers the slots with a thin layer.
4. 30 ga., ALL resistance wire worked fine for me. It holds it shape with the coil well, making the cotton wick install easy. The center pin will also fit, but it takes a little squirming around with it.
5. Make sure the slots on the center post are aligned with the bottom of the tube.
6. Tighten the brass ring nut only until electrical contact is made. This gives you a slightly looser draw. Keep in mind, my findings are that the Diver2 is definitely a very firm draw when wicking properly.

Hope this helps. I spent quite a while finally sorting it out. It is a fiddly device, but will reward you with better then carto performance, no leaks and gurgling, and a decent thick vapor. Hang with it!

I've had an Eviva-t for a few days now - and it vapes extremely well - performance is good however can you tell me is there any way that you can fill this thing WITHOUT wasting about 0.5-1ml of juice every time??

You fill it up but as soon as you put the top cap back on it inevitably forces juice through the feed port into the chamber and floods it..

all you can do it tighten to the top cap to the point it grips the o-ring and then turn it upside down to drain all the juice out of the chamber and base..that was forced into there by the pressure of doing the top cap up enough.

For me this is a killer - you're wasting almost a third of your juice fill every time! :(

Darth, I don't have any issues filling and turning over to tighten. Make sure you are filling just below the threads to allow more room for the juice to drop down below the juice channel so you don't push any in when tightening the top.

Pls first of all check that you close well the juice feeding hole with your wick/cotton.

Fill your tank up to tube threads.

Put the cap until you feel the o-ring “touch”.

At this time turn your Eviva upside-down and make the final (almost half) turn. Leave it as it is (upside-down) for about 5 sec and you are ok.

If you still have problems most possible you didn’t close enough the feeding hole. Honestly every problem we saw like yours in most of the times the problem was the closing of the hole.

At last change the bell and cap (the bigger) o-rings with the replacements

Pls inform me after these steps if you still have the same issues.

Yep, agree with K. My first time with the Eviva flooded because I didn't have enough cotton stuffed into the deck to block the channel. As for filling it's the same way on most tanks Kayfun, etc. Turn upside down and allow juice to drain to bottom before fully tightening the top cap seal.

I am VERY happy with the vape I'm getting with the Eviva. The ceramic cup warms the vapor up nicely and gives very good flavor. I have not put this thing down since getting it!

This is pretty much EXACTLY what I have been doing - I have 3 lengths of 2mm silica stuffed into the base and blocking the fluid port and also have stuffed it with cotton to ensure the hole remains blocked by the wick - I get no leaking during use - only during filling...

I'll have another look at it when this tank runs empty and see about putting even more cotton in there maybe to keep the silica in place.. I'd like to sort this out as I'm really digging the performance when vaping it - but at the moment I have lost approximately 1/3rd of the juice with every refill to date...

I'm not new to rebuildables and I know it can take a while to figure out setups - but this is a consistent issue I can't seem to resolve at the moment. Like I said no leaking at all during use - only when filling it :(
