I know that this was asked early on . . . Do you plan to make the Diver without the base flange? If not, will cutting/grinding off the existing flange hamper the performance of the Diver?

I ask only because, the Diver performs perfectly. As such, you folks put some time into the basis of design.

same here, however... I'm not sure how deep the recess is by default... and the flange looks like it is twice as thick as the air channel is deep. I think to get it flush may cut a little to close to the oring channel for comfort. waiting to spring for a set of fluid flasks on payday next week, so if the flasks look like they're standing too tall and the hippos top cap doesn't cover it, I'll see if they'll sell just the bottom part of the pro-v with the recess.

I just moved about a dozen blank tank cartomizers out of my vaping supply toolbox and emptied my remaining cartomizer tanks. I haven't used a cartomizer tank in about ten weeks since I've been using submersible atomizers and I don't plan on going back now that I'm spoiled. I just sold my AMP Tank today and I think it will pay for some more Divers.

Here's the Diver in a 22mm IBTanked tank on a Nemesis. This is why I love the Nemesis...no gap.

Wanted to use it on my Rollers as well...but you can see how much gap there is.

YES Andy; without flange we get seamless junction for tank and battery body. Therefore; I hate DCT-Carto`s with fuc.... flange, too!

That is with the flat (recessed) connection.

I look forward to the Divers with no flange.

I just bought another also. Looks like I should have waited until tomorrow, for no flange....

I'd like a Diver without a flange, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I've preferred tank cartomizers with flanges, I'm used to pushing my tank with my Killer up a bit to improve airflow, and I push my tanks with my Divers up a bit to get the very last drops of juice before I refill.

Oops. I may have ordered too soon also. These European suppliers have trained me well to set an alarm and wake up no matter what time. Sometimes I act too soon tho. I sent an e-mail requesting a no flange version. We shall see.
