This has not left my hand since I received it. A matte Lab & a Rocket is such a great match

I ordered an Ice Matte Lab 50 today. I wanted the 18650 version, but decided that if I need that much battery, I'll just buy the extension at some point. It should be fun to move along to mods having done various Innokin VV's for a few years. I haven't ordered a 22mm rba for it yet and will likely just start out using my Spheroid and kayfun Mini Clone to start.

ETA: any suggestions for a 22mm lower profile rba under $100 would be great. Don't want to derail the thread though so please disregard if that is a problem.

very nice. those ice-matte atmizoo's are hot. you'll be pleased.

are you looking for a rba with a tank? you can go with a russian to match. and use the beadblasted nano kit from science of vaping, if you want low profile and glass. or maybe the erlkönigin-- that's a blasted finish, too. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...zer-systems/573083-erlkoenigin-pictorial.html

not familiar with drippers, so I cant offer help there.

Hey, thanks! I've never given larger diameter tanks much of a look, but those names certainly come up quite a bit. Yeah, I'm looking for a tank or maybe something like a cart (ie: Spheroid on steroids). Perhaps you might know... I read somewhere that the Kayfun Lite Plus and 3.1 didn't work so well with slotted 510 connectors (leaks into the device) such as the Lab uses? Any experiences?

I have Lab and a genuine kayfun lite+ v2. they work well together. no problems with leaking or connecting properly. some adjusting was needed to sit flush, but that's easy. the switch on the lab, as you know, is resistant to liquid, so that's good. but I havent noticed any problems at all.

Good deal. It was one thing I read on one website and didn't see anywhere else. Thought it might bear looking into to see if members experiences proved it out. Thanks!

If you want a Spheriod on steroids then get the Heron with the 510 adapter. It would probably look real sick on the Lab.

That is a nice combo. ^^^

Took the Roller switch apart for the first time last night for a cleaning. It's shocking how simple it is. Compliments of the how to video on the Atmizoo website of course.

Just got the Dingo today. Yeah the Atmizoo site has an amazing amount of information. Wasn't sure if I'd like the switch, but it's fantastic.

Edit: Here's a shot with it in my hand, to give a better idea of size. The Dingo is 18350, so keep that in mind.

After an evening and overnight with my new lab.... I love it. Should have pulled the trigger on an atmizoo product ages ago. The button is so smooth and accurate. My ehpro ea mod has been the best performer in my inventory until now. The lab hits noticeably harder. Extremely awesome device, as well as a beauty to hold and stare at. Shockingly fast shipping too.

some new updates on instagram: Instagram

fingers crossed the wave has a glass/pyrex/borosilicate tank rather than pmma.

I read the blog post of the new PEEK switch and I am still unclear of what the advantage is over the stock lab switch. Can anyone explain?

Hey Nasca ;)

Peek is Heat-resistant = more durable (but must be used with the Lab in Fused Mode)... One thing which is important to notice: Standard black switches *can* prevent accidents by design, for example if your device starts auto firing in your pocket while skiing (true story). As an analogy, cars are built to deform so that passengers will survive hard impacts.
HP switches do not provide any auxiliary protection, so they are meant to be used: i) by users who have the knowledge to monitor the condition of their devices and batteries and handle them accordingly, *or* ii) strictly in Fused Mode (since the protection module of the Lab provides over-temperature protection)...

Hope this explains things, apart from all the intriguing details @ http://......./1AK3w2W

I have had my dingo for about 8 mo. Now and it is always firing perfect for me. I just cleaned the contacts for the first time, and there was barely any oxidization... oh that ball bearing went for a fly and I said to myself "thatd gone" about ten minutes later my gf came into the kitchen and I herd her kick it lol you know the sound. Found it! I waited and waited to pull the trigger on another atmizoo mod. I even had it all ordered up from vaperev, but the refused to throw me a coupon so I just ordered direct from Atmizone. Plus I get the new HP switch with it and a drip tip. I dont think the switches even on the old dingo/rollers are too much trouble for the performance they give. I like the flattened contacts they are way beefier than those on my 69 mod wich has issues firing if not pressed into a "sweet spot" the atmizoo switch always sits firm and gives a great connection.

Hey Michael83. Thank you for all the kind comments. I take it you went for the Lab. This post dates from September - any feedback since then?

As the new batch of Labs is already scheduled, we welcome any comments that might underline advantages (things that are to be kept in the design) and drawbacks or things you might want different ;)
