Hi markse, well thus far I am delighted to report that I have now had 3 different builds working really successfully. My favourite is still the Vertical, which to me, produces the best flavour, BUT, this is only my opinion, so should be taken as such. The Horizontal build was fun, works so much better when you remember not to block the juice holes! But the really interesting one was the Mesh Build that I did. Took about 4 attempts to get it working, but when it did..... Wow!! I was really keen to try this in particular as the Vertical Build is very similar to a NextGen, so I hoped that I might achieve something similar with The Wave. Again, this is only my opinion, but the results were enough for me to sell my NextGen.

OK, I do come from a background that features Sophias almost entirely, so perhaps, as has been already pointed out elsewhere, being used to building in very tight spaces makes this easier for me?

I'd love to see another variation of the Centre Pole which didn't have the collar that the Nut tightens on to, especially for Mesh Builds, but that said, the one that comes as standard works well enough. I believe that another Centre Pole option may become available at some point in the future?

The thing that was the revelation to me was my wife's views on The Wave. She was a die hard Sophia and Cage user, refusing point blank to entertain anything else. I had the Wave set up and running successfully (Vertical Build), offered it to her and never got it back. Through tremendous good fortune, I was able to acquire another couple of Waves and my wife has sold 2 of her Sophia/Cage setups and now uses nothing but Waves.
My one has seen pretty non stop use too over the last 2 weeks and I have to say, I am thrilled with the results thus far.
We are both looking forward to seeing what develops along the way with this rta, I can see various add ons coming which, to my mind at least, should offer even greater flexibility.

Sorry this has turned into a long post, but I felt it only fair to share some positive experiences after the initial burst of negative comments. Fair Play to everyone, not all RTAs suit everyone, there are many that I cannot abide which others tell me are the greatest thing since sliced bread. All I would say, to anyone struggling, do persevere and look on the Support Page on Atmizoo's site, also check out the blog and their fb page as there is a lot of info hidden there all of which helps.

For anyone struggling with the Vertical Build, do try the horizontal instead. Transformed an already "Good" Atty into a "Great" Atty just like that!!!
We now have 2 running Horizontal coils and one with an ni200 Vertical. Brilliant, TC takes the sting out of the vertical build, but gosh, the horizontal is producing flavour plus, plus, plus!!

Alright, ya wizard...
What black magic did you use to get the wick tucked down, AND away from the juice holes?

The way the holes in the crenellations line up, directly over the juice holes, has my horizontals lining up that way too...which means the wicks want to sit over the holes...when I can get them tucked between the center pole and the walls! That's a trick all in itself!

I am definitely interested in an Atmizoo Wave; my first mech was a Lab, and I found Atmizoo customer service to be outstanding. That being said:
  • the price point puts it from a "I'll get it next week" to "I'll see what my tax returns are like"
  • given the base price, I will purchase when I can pick it up as a package with some of those alternative parts, and likely a new Lab 65.
    • No, I don't need a new mech, but the Labs have been so good to me it's hard to resist.
