Crazyhorse - This is probably because those, or some of, juices do indeed contain oils, not intentionally, but are part of the flavourings. Small amounts %wise but it builds up. So, these oils are part of the 'dry residue' that many flavorings have - stuff that does not evaporate from the coil and gets left behind.
Another possibility is that the lingering liquid is VG. VG takes weeks or even months to evaporate at room temperature (whereas water will evaporate in hours if not minutes).
Could be a bit of both.
