Atomizer coming apart??

Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen-

One of the atomizers that came w/ our kit looks as though the top layer of metal meshy stuff is coming off of the atomizer little by little-
On the "V" portion on one side edge of it, it looks as though the atomizer meshy grill stuff has "melted away"- there is still another layer of meshy grill stuff but you can definitely see this and when trying to use it, it seems to have a "taste" behind it-...
Wouldn't have really thought much of it other than the taste- We took out a new one to use and this has not happened to the other one.....yet?-??
I will try and take a picture of it to post later- Unless, someone knows exactly what I am talking about...

Yeah, same thing happened to me. Best I can figure is that I puffed too much on that particular atty and got it way too hot. I've been testing the theory on my second atty by ensuring that it feels cool to the touch before I take another drag and so far all is good. I'd say wager that it's either from overheating it or else we were just luck enough to receive attys that happened to have a peculiar design flaw.

As to taste, I can't say that the two are really connected. I experienced a burnt taste prior to the bridge disintegration issue as a result of heavy usage. Turned out I just needed to clean the atty and all was good again. Try giving it a good cleaning and see if that helps the taste any.

I have experienced this as well. My liquid doesn't really have much flavor and I keep getting a burnt taste. I assume that because I didn't know what I was doing in the beginning I probably ended up burning up my atomizers, but they still work great, I just get a not so great taste while vaping so I have yet to experience great flavor I think because when I started there was the primer taste and then I burned them up now getting a burnt taste.
It isn't unbearable but I just realized how good flavor can get because I bumped into my friend at work who I pointed to ModerVapor and she had bought a 902. She let me take a drag on her 902 with mint and all I can say is wow, the flavor was so present and rich that I didn't realize how strong and delicious the flavor should taste. I will treat my next batch of atomizers much better now that I have an idea what I'm doing and see how it goes.
