2 reos. 1 rm2 (actually drilled a 2nd 2mm air hole and have been rocking dual coils - probably the fullest flavor vape I have). 1 cyclone with afc and 2 rm4s. The rm4s match the cyclone in flavor and produce more vapor in my experience.

Now I just need to widen the rm4 post holes to fit dual MM coils :D (or change the screws and ignore the post holes).

Question for Rob:

Have you considered getting a few top-feed Cyclones and drilling them for bottom-feed?

It seems there are too few BF Cyclones to meet demand. Although they'd cost more than your other atomizer offerings, I think there's plenty REOnauts who'd be more than willing to pony up some cash.

Does the center pin unscrew from the Trident V1? I think I saw a post of yours somewhere that I can't find now (figures) on the forum where all you did was cut the insulators. If the V1 doesn't unscrew how do you get to them? I have a V1 and tried to turn to screw with no luck. I would love to use this atty on a LP. Many thanks.

No I haven't I wont step on anyone that is making a bottom fed atty . All the atomizers I mod are drippers only

Didn't read where he was looking for that kind of work, but would gladly send my V1 Trident if I can't a grip on the DIY BF conversion myself. Was hoping to have this so called easy conversion done by the time the USPS delivers my first ever REO this coming Monday. But hey just say the word Rob and it's on it's way! Glad I got Igo from you. At least now, I won't be staring at the thing over not having a BF atty.

The cyclone was good but the ol' RM2 is still my favorite

so it's being traded to a good home.:) Whether you think/like the Cyclone over the RM2....the RM2 doesn't require drilling out a hole or buying the AFC extra. Cyclone did points for better vapor and easy access cap but taste was too close to call....or maybe a teeny bit better.

ok got to put this out there... nice thread about the Odin from SuperX who converted it b/f. Turbocad6 gives a good post about what makes a good b/f RDA:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...65-odin-rebuildable-atomizer-loki-labs-2.html

Turbo's post got me thinking about some of the 20+mm RDA's and the Vapor Tek Magma (good clone) I finally set up. It has dual under coil air source and its a mighty fine dual RDA.
Wow, if that could be set up for b/f it would be a really "new" deal... can't say it would be the "best" but different in a really good way.

I thought about the magma but with bf if you squonk enough to actually see liquid at the airhole but then stop, most of it will get retracted back in. with the magma once you see any liquid it will wind up being a bigger leak because it's already filled the whole air path like a sewer drain, so whatever went into the tube is going to leak out even if you stop squonking at that point... other than that, with conservative squonking it might be pretty cool, I want to try one eventually but I'd rather wait and get a real one instead of a clone, another one that looks like it would be as good as the magma is the rose v2, I' def like to try one of these eventually :)

"Conservative squonk" , thats me... at least when it comes to how i like to vape.
My lungs aren't what they used to be so with duals, I need to be a bit careful anyway.

Nobody likes leaks and if you go for under coil air posts, like I have for a couple years now with Ukraine Ti group atomizers, you have to work around that to get the benefits (better flavor imo). For me its far from an issue.

I use my Reo's mostly in my car/truck and on the road whenever i go somewhere and especially with the Origen I have to keep it upright, and as we discussed light squonking is as good a vape with a deep well b/f as it is with no juice well as long as the wick is wet. (Which highlights how deep wells are a bit of a waste in a b/f RDA).

Looking forward to a first: your under coil air b/f RDA Turbo :)

edit: you may be right about the Magma being more prone to leaking than the undercoil air post RDA's I am used to. The well is not very deep and with side holes (vs. raised air posts) i have to keep it very vertical.

Here's a pic of an aprox. 16mm Ti dripper mode Big Ben base with aprox. 4mm tall air post. Air source comes from side of the base. I can get a ml in there without leaking and don't have to worry about tilting.

What is a concern is that with the coil/wick up over the juice source a good few mm you have to have excellent wicking if you are going to go below .5 or .6 ohms (vs. the coil/wick closer to the juice ).
In that sense one might consider the Magma a better design; haven't decided.

I have converted a Magma for bf and love it. I have never had a drop of a leak. I do have to squonk a little longer than some of my other attys but the taste is awesome. I like the dual post space to build. I have enough 3 post rda's, for me I am looking for innovation on the design. Another 3 post with a different cap or some minor tweak holds no interest for me.

The cool thing about this one is that its a Top Feeder; has a 4ml tank above with a drip hole in the tank base, mesh plug feeds to the coil by pressure from your draw; and gravity.
It works awesome (when you have the plug right).
I'm using it in drip mode with a Ti cylinder.

I have a rose v2 I'm not using if you'd like to check it out just send me a pm
