And a picture is worth a thousand words.... I will give you this tidbit of research....to chew on...

Review the video of elev8 and go to 1:50 of the video and pay close attention to what he says....most all of the other videos either say or show this....that's all you are getting from my research..... and I was not alluding to Evolv....this is about the hana modz Clone

It says Hana Mods on the screen, isn't that what lot17ss was getting at or did I miss it lol

Ooopps, forgot the stickers inside say Hana Modz as well.

Okay the sticker issue was addressed already, I recently watched a review where they took the back plate off and the reviewer said that the sticker did NOT have the hana modz logo. The only thing that could possibly still retain the logo is the chip which honestly may have been remedied by the eledged flash they did to address the ohm reading issue. At tbe end of the day though, in my personal opinion, I think the hana modz manufacturer has their hand in these clones. Everyone can agree that they could not supply the demand for their products. Is it really that farfetched to believe that they sold their designs to china, along with a 'X' amount of chips so that they can make at least SOME of the money theyre missing out on? I dont know if thats a crazy 911 theory or something based in reality so no one take it to heart, but think about it.

That aside, I ordered a black clone on the 18th of april, hopefully mine will be going out with that first batch. And honestly if tbey dont go out dude to legal issues im more than happy to get a refund from 101vapes, hell I might just get some more mech and attys. Either way its a win-bitter win lol keep in mind though, it seems australia has already recieved some shipments here and there, I believe the shop/site is called' vapor eyes' . In the review he had a black one, silver one, and a 'yellow' that looked orange. Theres hope guys. Now will these mods be available for long? I highly doubt it if hana mkdz is taking legal action. But the catch to that would be legal action takes time to proccess much like thus pre order. Most people that ordered early will most likely recieve them im nkt sure about the whole 4th batch/round 4 sales..

Oh one last thing, in that same vid on youtube by that morris guy his clone seemed to have the chip updated as it read the resistance and voltage way more accurately than the first samples sent.

Maybe I'm missing something but there seems to be a lot of guessing and rumor about this mod but very little truth. Almost all the reviews I've seen or read are positive, two places have now said they are expecting their 1st shipment (only in black) and it's a pre-order from china, items that aren't a preorder already take close to a month to get from fasttech. I'll just continue to wait and as more reviews come in I'll decide if I should cancel. As for people thinking that nobody will get one due to anything legal, every vape shop I've ordered from or walked into is stocked with 1.1 clones of almost every product so I don't see that bringing a halt to production.

Of course we are all speculating. But in the absence of any updates and vendors removing prior postings, it is reasonable to speculate that some kind of legal action took place. I doubt this affects just one vendor, although each of them will have to make a decision on how to respond. Given the online trail that has already been left, any vendor that ships these mods could face significant damages if Hana decides to sue. That's all. We will see what happens...

Remember the days when people were defending illvapes? Oh how that made me smile....

this started 4/22/14

I get the sense illvapes is doing some ... covering with that claim. We know some who did group buys were ripped off by whoever put out the logo versions. but they agreed to a risk. Illvapes seems to be passing off the scam they incurred to their customers. They were claiming the logo versions were 1:1 and the no logo was not, so that was the price difference.

I don't know. They just seem sketchy after rereading this thread and a little googling.

Definitely won't be doing business with them. Personally.

Well I am not going to judge ILL on the ordering . They were only putting out info that they thought was true at the time in my opinion. They closed the logo order because they found a better deal with the no logo orders. Following suit with the other vendors who bought the cheaper ones. I may take a loss on the first order. It's still cheaper to buy both styles than one hana (I bought both styles)..Enjoying some moo juice on my dripper with twisted 28 rockin the silver bullet M

I do know that Adirondack vapor did a pre order on reddit and came back and offered buyers free juice or some other compensation after finding that the clones didn't cost as much as they had originally anticipated. A class A move on their part.

With that said, I paid 109 for a logo 1:1 with Illvapes and that really doesn't bother me. No one knows if both versions of the clone are the same yet. In the end I'm still paying far less than I would have for a legitimate Hana.

Very true. ...I still think illvapes, could be more honest. Practice better business.

But hey, who am I to say. I think their douche-y name makes me dislike them, lol.

And yea, even two with logos are cheaper than a Hana. Can't go wrong.

I'm dripping HHV serendipity on 28g in a trident clone.... And starting at my new vtc5's awaiting their new home in a cana or chana or whatever people with call them.

ILLvapes are ANGELS compared to ... You know who I'm talking about

While I have no complaints so far, that has yet to be seen. They haven't been around that long and the only positives I have found about them have been in regards to their brick and mortar. If I'm not mistaken SS Vapes B&M experience is good, they just can't handle a pre order to save their lives.

No, I totally agree with that..

I'd like to stay annon.

Only illvapes claimed that. Everyone else was honest and/or had a clue.

Does it really matter? Every vendor will likely get them around the same time. At least Ill vapes is in California and will likely get them a day or two before a vendor in the Midwest does.

I do think business practices matter.
