I don't believe any of us actually has any idea what is causing the vendors to change their websites in the past couple of days, but as for trademark infringement, I always thought Cloupor's decision to include the stickers on the inside that has Hana's name on it was a strange move.

This is what I suspect. Most vendors changed their photos out at the same time to photos from cloupor instead of photoshopped photos of actual Hana units.

Seems like everyone may have gotten a legal threat right around the same time.

Illvapes was selling logo units and referred to theirs as Hana clones rather than Cana modz. So I can definitely see them doing all of this as a knee-jerk reaction to a legal threat.

i was seriously on elev8 site like 20 min ago also may be everyone going to the site could have over loaded it they probably cant handle a lot of people BUT that would make this story a lot less interesting lol

Elev8 just posted that they are testing the ones that JUST came in and the OHM reader is fixed. YAY!!!! No BLUE to be seen though so thats a bummer. Saying they're getting green in next.

Vendors selling non logo versions should be safe... They don't have to rights to a box mod.

In fact I saw on vaportekusa.com they opted no logo for the trademark reasons

So I finally got through to illvapes. They said they got 100 today and they were going start testing and shipping now. They said they were coming in batches of 100 per day, so much for their 2000 unit batch lol. They claim they removed them from the site to catch up because the batches are alot smaller than expected. No mention of legal threats etc.

They said mine was order #927 but it was one of the first orders for silver so it may be getting packed in this batch but did not confirm there were silver in this batch. I had them leave my order alone because I did not want them to cancel an order that they already created a shipment for etc.

Wow, illvapes must be repeating that on the phone alot lol. I mentioned to them that the natives are getting restless and they should send out a mass update to clear the air. They said they were planning on it but wanted to see what orders they could actually get out first.
